Farewell, Grammarly!

I had issues with Grammarly not finding the documents I wrote, even using their search criteria, as they only list 100 papers at a time.
I sent a request to Grammarly support about enhancing the search functionality or finding a way to list all the resources that have been written. They said they would pass it on to the developers, but there was no further feedback. I received the same old response—a copy-and-paste.
This is not the first time I have had issues with Grammarly. They seem stuck in their ways and do not listen or enact reasonable changes. Or maybe I am just one in 10 million subscribers, which is unimportant.
I decided to back up the resources I needed and discard the rest.
All of my Grammarly documents have now been sorted. I am ready to unsubscribe from their service.
We do what we believe is best for us.

Hi AbbieP! I want to say that I am pleased with the journey in WA so far. I have achieved the 25 posts milestone within the first 4 weeks and I will continue the push despite not having made any dime yet on the platform. Your guidance and those of other kind members of WA have been extremely helpful. At this juncture, may I seek your advice as per what next I should do regarding moving forward.
I only use the free version of Grammarly so I am pretty limited on what the thing can do, but it is a frustrating thing anyway because it will suggest a change to one thing which then causes the entire sentence to need correction (which is only available under the pay version).
Nowadays, I run my articles through ChatGPT telling it to only correct grammar and spelling errors and to change nothing else and it does a great job for me.

I wish I could say I have some sage advice, but I don't LOL. I use their extensions for Word and other programs, so I have never had an issue. I personally detest using their website window, or most website windows for that matter. I prefer doing it directly on my computer.
You have to do what is best for you. I am glad you are working at getting it figured out.

I haven't used grammarly, (Wow I am "old fashioned") so I don't understand the problem with which you have been working. I am glad you go it fixed.

If you write thousands of documents in your Grammarly window, you can only see the last 100.
Then, you have to input in search keywords or the first line of your article to fetch it. But I don't remember what I wrote in the last four to five years, so I couldn't locate any documents I was searching for.
With OpenAI, Claude, and Poe, you have a separate window listing all your inquiries.
I asked Grammarly to do the same, but they are taking their time.
Now that I have backed up my work, I can quickly find the resources I need. Problem solved.
I hope you can access all those documents. I back up everything with an external hard drive as well as the computer.
I can indeed and search for keywords within seconds unlike the Grammarly app lol
I did that in the past, then one day, I dropped it, and that was the end.

Ouch!
My chief complaint with Grammarly is the plagiarism checker. Last week, I ran the checker on the new content. Grammarly showed that I copied 20% from another source. I followed the link Grammarly provided to a post I made in 2011!
I use a Dropbox account with 2 TB of storage to back up my PC, laptop, and external hard drive.
If it is yours, it is okay. It is meant to scour the internet when initiating this search.
