Hi Terese: All browsers have spelling & grammar checking built in. I don't recall the WA content editor ever having these features. But if it did at some point, they may have removed it since the browser(s) already have it.

Depending on your browser, and your personal preference, you can probably find a spelling/grammar browser extension to enhance the functionality. I just did a search in the Chrome web store and found several. I've always been satisfied with the built-in browser functionality so I haven't tried any extensions.
Open Google Chrome.
Go to Settings.
Click Advanced > Languages.
To the right of Spell check, please turn it on or off.
You can get it via Google if you use Chrome, it has been changed

One thing to note, with most browsers there is not an option you can click to spellcheck an entire page at once. It basically happens on the fly while you're typing. Any spelling or grammar issues will get a red/squiggly underline to let you know there is an issue. You can right-click on that word/phrase to see the suggestions. I took a screenshot example of some intentional errors I created in this comment before I posted it. 😉
That's what I'll miss about the WA spelling and grammar function. You hit that button and it will take you through the whole page. I don't have any red, squiggly lines in my text so I am all good now. I appreciate your response!

Yup, that's correct, but when it was there, it didn't really catch everything... Mind you, I usually edit in the Grammarly app in addition to the build in browser feature :)

All content generated through the Author platform is "error free", so that is why we vacated from that...along with all browsers now having built in editors. So they are much less of a requirement and we didn't want to add unnecessary bloat the platform.
Thanks, Kyle! I have not used the author platform yet. I did not know of it until now. I'll look further into it to help me with future posts. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Hi, if you want to chance it and correct , at least back up your site. You can use AIO Migration or Updraft.

Suggestion: You may want to add your code inside the Ad Inserter plugin, as you do not want to edit your themes files directly as you will lose your changes when the theme updates or if you change your theme.
It seems the code you have is trying to inject PHP where it doesn't belong which is inside an HTML container, though I could be wrong because the screenshot image is too small to read the corrupt text.
I just opened one image in a different window. I was able to blow it up and see better. Still somewhat blurry, but way more visible. Not sure if you are able to do the same, but thanks for your reply.
