By this I mean am I committing for any length of time?
Yes, you can cancel billing in your Accounts area:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/home/my_profile
Your Premium account will become inactive. If you have a website hosted at WA, you will have 30 days to move it to another host.
You won't be able to revert to a free Starter membership, but you can come back any time and continue from where you left off. ~Jude
You're never actually committing to anything here at WA, you are in charge of your very own success. If you upgrade to premium, but then cannot afford it, then you can definitely cancel it and you are always welcome to come back :)

Hi kyle and carson. if I upgrade to premium can I opt out?

Yes, if you are on a monthly membership you are in full control and you can opt out whenever you like. It is truly month to month and you are not bound to any sort of agreement. Obviously if you pay for yearly your are purchasing a year and you are not obligated to stick around for another year after that.
We run an ethical operation and we put you, as the customer, in full control of your membership. You can cancel, you can resubscribe, you can upgrade as you like and what makes sense to you and your situation Terry. :)
This is not to my liking and I wish to opt out. I notice that you have taken a further months premium from my account without my consent.
