Since installing Updraft I have been unable to run a back up because of the following error:

Seems like somehow you possibly messed up the coding on your website when dealing with coding you must be super careful.
I would send Site Support screenshots of the problems and describe them so they can help you. Another thing make sure you are using an up-to-date theme if not this can also pose problems.

I did add the analytics html code to the header. I followed a video off youtube but who's to say they knew what they were doing. I guess this must be the issue, I will try site support again.

Is it built on free domain or on you own?

Otherwise, I can take a look at the site and see if I give a hand. I am not an expert, but I know a bit about wordpress.

Have you tried to change the theme?

No not really, but I removed the affiliate link and it's displaying as it should for now.
I might try changing the theme when I get a bit more time tonight and see if that helps. If not I will flick you the url and see if you have any ideas.

send a ticket to site support. Go to the left side at the bottom and click help center then click site support
Most welcome Terri also have you added any new plugins to your site? Sometimes it can be a bad plugin or at times it may clash with what you have already. But hopefully wait for site support for their response.

Possible, I had added 'Smush Image Compression and Optimization' and I also have Yoast and Gutenberg.
Will see what they say.
I have smush as well but with All in one and haven't activated Gutenberg as yet. If it is the plugins I don't think smush would be the issue. But as you said let's wait for site support. Please let us know the results it is great to hear as others may one day have a similar issue.
