A Funny Thanksgiving Poem for All!
Turkey, turkey, on the plate,
I can hardly wait to eat.
Mashed potatoes, gravy too,
I'll eat until I'm black and blue.
Pumpkin pie, oh my oh my,
I'll eat until I start to cry.
Whipped cream, don't forget the scoop,
I'll eat until I'm in a stupor.
But then I'll wake up from my nap,
And realize I've eaten too much crap.
I'll groan and moan and start to whine,
And swear I'll never do it again next time.
But then next year rolls around,
And I'll be back to chow down.
I'll eat until I'm sick and sore,
And then I'll do it all once more.

The same here, but I had a slice of both pecan and sweet potato pie.šš
I made dressing and gravy w turkey necks. I usually add other giblets, but bad for cholesterol.
It made a lot of gravy, so cut the big turkey breast in half for Christmas, plus w gravy.
I made collard greens w bacon and green beans. I cook cranberries w drk brown sugar and 1/3 Capt Morgan's rum and 2/3 water. Yum!
