Hi all,

I would like to keep my site under wraps while I'm still building it, and only make it findable by Google/other people once I have a few posts up on it. How can t

In WP > Settings > Reading, you can tick the option at the bottom of the page to discourage search engines from indexing the site. Just remember to untick it when ready.

Or, you can prepare your content and save it in DRAFT form until you are ready to publish but visitors can still get to your site if they know the URL, but they won't see anything but the theme framework.

If you want to publish the content but not have it available to visitors, you can consider using a Maintenance Mode plugin:

Thank you! :)

Hi all,

I’m considering hiring someone/people to write articles for my website at as high volume and as low cost as possible. If I like the quality of the work, I&r

Try Upwork.com.

I just had an English woman write a site for me for $2 / 100 words which is excellent value for a native speaker, who knows the niche. She was new to the site and so didn't have any reviews - but it was obvious from her portfolio that she would be ideal. As she was new she couldn't ask for a high price.

So try there for people who can write well and don't have any or many reviews. There's a good chance you'll find someone happy to work for less than they normally would in return for a good review or two.

http://Hirewriters.com is apparently quite good - for $20 you can get an expert writer, they are usually very, very talented (Far better than anyone on Fiverr).

I'd stay faaaar away from Fiverr. I spent $20 each for several different articles from different people, even so called "Native english speakers". I got poorly worded, broken-english articles in return.

Outsourcing is a fantastic idea, especially if your website is already making money.

EDIT: By the way, I'd just like to point out that I am in no way affiliated with Hirewriters, nor have I even used them before - I'm going based off other reviews I've seen from other bloggers who used them in the past. That link is not an affiliate link.

I'll check the site out! Thank you!

Glad I could help! If you decide to go with it, get back to me and tell me your experience with it - I'm also considering using it.

Yes Hirewriters.com is a good place. I used to write for them, you should he able to find someone who knows your niche and can write good articles for you. Good luck!
