Are You Struggling To Find A Niche?
I wanted to write a blog to help the beginners here, on the topic of niches.
In all my years of experience online, helping people build their own businesses, the one huge stumbling block is niche selection. It seems daunting and can literally stop you in your tracks.
The training here is excellent, and I just want to give you some additional encouragement.
Many of you think that if you’re not an expert on a topic, you shouldn’t choose it… wrong!!
Many of you think if you choose the wrong niche, you’ve failed and game over… wrong!!
That couldn’t be further from the truth.
If you choose a niche that doesn’t work for you, consider that a learned set of skills that can help you move forward. Imagine how much easier it’ll be to choose another niche and start over.
The only person that fails is the one who quits!!
So How Do You Find A Niche?
First of all, follow Kyle’s training, lol.
Then if you’re still truly stuck, take a minute and think about what you search for online. Anyone who needs a solution to a problem, searches on Google or YouTube, right?
Search in your areas of interest and see what’s missing. If you can’t find results for a particular search term, there are probably millions of other people who can’t find it either.
What a wonderful opportunity for you to provide that solution and rank!!
Now that doesn’t mean you should search for something totally ridiculous, haha. But if you could fill the gap with what’s missing within your niche, you could be very successful.
And finally, do your best to niche down. Micro niches may have a smaller target audience, but this audience has already done their research and are ready to buy.
So have a good look around! There are niches everywhere!

How do you choose between a general niche, and a microniche as you mentioned. The overall goal for all of us here is to create passive income so what makes one more appealing than the other?
I realize the marketing tactics and customer buy cycle come into place but if you super focus your niche to that micro status of just those "ready to buy" aren't you selling yourself short if you provide great content for general perspective customers and reader?

A micro niche is just one specific category in the entire broad niche. The reason you want to start with a micro niche is because it is easier to rank due to less competition. And focussing your content on this one small area will get traffic flowing to your site quicker and allow you to make money sooner.
Once you have significant traffic flowing to your site you can then start branching out into other areas of the overall broad niche.
It’s a matter of you creating yourself as an authority by starting small and then expanding out down the road.
So you will eventually be able to do what you’re envisioning, but doing it in the proper order so you can grow faster.
