ABOUT ME PAGE: a place you can call it HOME! (spoiler: write it by yourself!)

In my big arrogance (yes I am arrogant sometimes, but smarter enough to notice that! Lol), I wanted to create 2 websites at the same time.

When actually I started making my "hands dirty" (quoting Eric!!), I realized that JUST ONE WEBSITE was enough to build (if I wanted to save my brain and seem a normal person who does not talk to the wall, waiting for a response!)

So, I came up with this idea! "Oh. building a website is like building a big MOSAIC" where every single piece should go into its perfect place!

I started thinking in terms of PAGES, and inside each page, I focused on each single block!

When I was happy with that block, I shifted to the next ones!

It took me 3 days to build my ABOUT ME page.

and NOW, it is exactly the way I imagined it. That's what I discovered, while building it:

• I asked the AI to outline the text and actually I WROTE IT BY MYSELF
• Writing it by yourself, it is a GREAT PERSONAL EXPERIENCE that forces you to reflect on your journey. That journey is totally unique, it was born from your own unique Perspective on life, so take the time to think about it and tell your own story with your own words!
• Don't be shy in writing about your special talents, your studies, your specific skills: we generally underrate ourselves (the famous imposter syndrom!), while talking about them can help people understand if we are the right person for them (of course, it is not a curriculum vitae where you list all your jobs!)
• The About Page helps to set the right tone voice you will use in your blog! (I introduced myself by inviting readers to sit down 5 mins with me)
• Use the page to differentiate yourself from your competitors! (Go and read their About pages, see what they do wrong and make it better!!!)
• Use the Images that reinforce your vision and aesthetic
• Put an extra care in this page! It talks about you, it is personal, it is a glimpse of your internal world
• Probably you will cry a river because Wordpress will fight against you and you will fight against Wordpress, even to move a little element in the page. But it is ok!!! It is the famous learning curve that - by its name is not straight - still will remain a curve! Lol!!

I am grateful for this experience of writing about me. I revisited my 11 years of work from a NEW PERSPECTIVE because I know my path, but explaining it to a person who does not know me, and CONVINCE that person about my pro skills, opens your own eyes about how worthy you are!

So, please make yourself a favor: don't ask AI to write it for you! You will miss something important for your own journey!
