We All Need Daily Inspiration!
Greetings to ALL from Adelaide in South Australia!
Who or what inspires YOU everyday?
WE ALL NEED IT!
So I'm going to share with those of you who catch this post WHO inspires me EVERYDAY & why.
Some of you may have noticed I have not been around very much over the past few weeks and there are a few reasons why this is so.
As I'm sure most of you already know, LIFE throws us some fairly hairy curve balls every now and again and I've had my fair share of them in the last 10 weeks or so.
I was delivered some news regarding my neurological health which has stopped me in my tracks and it is doubtful I will be able to work in the conventional way anytime in the near future.
On top of that, I have also been battling one of the scourges of the Australian population...Skin Cancer...it's one of our biggest killers!
I've had several of these terrible things cut out over the past 6 months, the most recent being about 10 weeks ago which came back with a result of being a fairly aggressive STAGE 3.
They didn't get it all out last time and it has come back bigger, better and faster than I have experienced so far. This has been going on for about 15 years when they found the first signs.
I will be having 3 more cut out of my left (2) and right (1) temples on Friday afternoon, so I am hoping I will have better luck this time!
Before I knew about Wealthy Affiliate, I read a book in 1998 called "Losing My Virginity' written by Sir Richard Branson, who I was lucky enough to listen to live in Adelaide a few years ago. And if you didn't know...he is dyslexic! He has written 8 more books since this gound breaker!
This book has been my inspiration for nearly 20 years now and if you haven't read it, I strongly urge you to do so...it really is brilliant!
Sir Richard lives and works by these simple beliefs...
JUST DO IT...
HAVE FUN...
BE BOLD...
CHALLENGE YOURSELF...
STAND ON YOUR OWN FEET...
LIVE THE MOMENT...
VALUE FAMILY AND FRIENDS...
HAVE RESPECT...
HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF...
THINK 'YES'...NOT 'NO'...
LIVE LIFE TO THE FULL...
NEVER GIVE UP...
I could expand on all of these beliefs but for the moment you can think about it for yourself!

It has been just over 9 months since I started (for the second time) here at Wealthy Affiliate and what I journey of learning it has been!

So there you have it...THE INSPIRATIONS that MOTIVATE me every single day!
The first thing I do everyday as soon as I wake up is TO GIVE thanks TO THE POWERS THAT BE & express my gratitude to that power in a way I CAN'T explain...
YOU SHOULD TOO!

If you will permit me I would like to give you this tip.
I swear by Aloe Vera gel. If you have a plant yourself the best thing is to make a small cut in the leaf which will heal itself and apply the gel directly. You cannot keep it as air will oxidize the gel,
which will make it ineffective. I have also a book on Urine Therapy, the information I found there I have used many times in my life with great results. As the book is out of print I can send you a scanned copy of it, the title is The water of life by John W. Armstrong.

Cancer of all types really sucks! I lost my mother a few years ago to this scourge. She did not go down without a fight though and I think that attitude extended her life significantly. It sounds like you have the same type of attitude towards life.
I live in Arizona and skin cancer is an issue here too. I hope you are getting the best treatment there down under. I don't think you mentioned if the skin cancer is at the root of your neurological issues as well or a separate issue but there are some really good cancer/neuro hospitals here in the states- MD Anderson in Houston, Mayo Clinics in Arizona and Minnesota just to name a few. There are new treatment protocols discovered all the time so just because one place isn't working for you doesn't mean another place can't help you.

I've lost a few friends to it as well, so I know how bad it can get...
I am aware of the clinics in USA. The other problem I have is not cancer...it's a bleeding 'cavernoma'...you might have to google it if you haven't heard of it...

I look forward to all your posts and training. I think I have read and bookmarked every bit of your training since I've joined. You are in inspiration to me and many other members I'm sure.
Keep doing what you have been doing and FIGHT! Keep on fighting too! I seem to remember a little birdie saying. "NEVER GIVE UP". We are all going to hold you to that. You are in my thoughts and prayers! Keep your head up. If you ever need anyone to talk to, I'm sure many members would be right there for you. I know I would. :). Donna

Sorry to hear about your health issues. I wondered where you went. You have been an inspiration to me. Hold on to what inspires you and let me know if there is anything I can do that might be of help. Hope that the news is better in the near future.

Great post Steve and I wish you a speedy recovery, we all face our demons at one point in our lives and it's good to know you have a great defense mechanism. I agree with some of those people that have helped you and will look a little closer on the ones I don't know. Praying for a full & fast recovery for you. Take care!

Steve, you are an inspiration in yourself.
I have battled Cancer on and off over the past 15+ yrs. I was lucky enough to have caught it all early. 5 different types in total, I know the struggle. I shut myself down for awhile and special people , like yourself gave me the power to keep fighting.
Stay positive and BEAT it. JUST DO IT!

Thanks for sharing this information with us Steve, like a lot of people, I will be saying prayers for you when you have the C word removed from your temples on Friday afternoon, that will be early morning for me.
