I'm a new member to Wealthy affiliate - there is so much info provided in this community, one can easily get lost.
What I've discovered, is that in the beginning one must stay true to the source material. Following the main course outline and taking a step by step approach will help you avoid getting lost in the plentitude of information available on this site.
The other courses I've done on-line, all follow a straight line of tutorials (all of which are outdated by the time you get to it) and there really isn't anything else beyond the main workshops.
Now for the video gamers among you - Wealthy affiliate plays like a open Sandbox style game. Where there is a main story line, but also a whole lot of free roaming that can take you places you may not anticipate (You may not want to sleep for a few days).
In closing; do not threat this course like learning to swim in a pool, but rather like learning to sail in the ocean - it requires more focus, but the depth is a vast abyss that will capture your imagination.

Hi Sterling, I agree that you really need to focus to stay on course here. There is a ton of information and tutorials that you need to spend time on and it gets hard when you spend too much time with the social aspects (for me at least). Thankfully I'm not enticed by gaming :)

Sadly I just recently grew up and got rid of my childish toys. lol
