Nine Months at WA
Hello WA Family:
I find it intriguing and rather humorous to be writing this blog about being a part of Wealthy Affiliate for nine months. All of you mothers out there will relate to me on this one. Generally, when we think of "nine months" we associate that with being pregnant and having a baby. I have two grown kids - my son, my youngest, turned 19 this week - Yep! I am old!
When I was pregnant with each of my kids, everyone would tell me things like the following:
- "The pain that you are feeling now cannot compare to the joy that is coming"
- "A baby will be a work of art....a piece of your mind and a slice of your heart"
What I find humorous here is that we can equate each of those quotes to our online businesses we are building here. For the second quote, your baby can be referred to as your website.
This past nine months, I have felt like I was taking something from a fetus to a living being, something that had a life of its own. Isn't that how we are all feel as we are growing our business and developing our websites? We are taking something so small and molding it into something will make you proud.
So, here is my question:
Since it has been nine months now shouldn't I be holding and enjoying my bundle of joy? So, how come I still like the image on the left instead of showing off my yacht?
I am sure we can all relate to this, am I right? But we will get there! Patience is not the ability to wait but the ability to keep a positive attitude while you wait.

Oohhkayyy ... I'm pregnant now I think ... Hee heeheeeheee ... This website I'm having is really having growin pains ... That plus my mind tends to wander off to other stuffs related to research n contents for the site ... That's a accurate analogy aawwwrite ... First baby my wife had was 2.6 kgs ... I am not sure what 2.6 kgs translates to in pounds but my son was 10 lbs and 5 ounces. :)
Since you have been here longer than I have, you may have already read this, but I read a blog post by DomW called $0 to $10k In 3 Years it really helps put things in perspective when it seems we are not progressing fast enough. It does take time. (unfortunately ;-) )
