Yoga is the best way to improve your health in many ways. When I do deep meditation, I don't really need sleep a lot, 4 to 6 hours will do. Sometimes I didn't sleep 2 or 3 days, but I don't really feel tired. I can meditated when I walk or had a movement. I use my breathing and concentration let my mind focus on one point and don't think, but I am aware of everything happen around me.

Great blog and very good tips apart from the lavender oil as I hate the smell of lavender or rose.

Yes, not everyone like the essential oil. The reason that I love Lavender oil because it helps me improved my scar after my car accident. Some part of my leg and most of the skin is peer off. Even with surgery, the skin will show unevenly. But I used Lavender oil massage on my skin all the scars and uneven skin disappear. Nobody can tell that I have a car accident before.

I was advised to use lavender oil once when I had burnt my stomach with red hot water and it helped with the scarring.

Just to add to your list you might also like to try the 5:7:8 rule..........inhale for 5 seconds.........keep air in the lungs for 7 sec's.........exhale for 8 sec's.......repeat a few times. It has always worked wonders for me, by the 3rd time round I already get sleepy......zzz zzz zzz. Take care, Johan.

Yes, if people do yoga and meditation every day. They don't need to worry about insomnia. Unfortunately, most of the people running around all day. They cannot really set down have a quiet time with themselves.
