Chat GPT Rocks!
Well, after the initial hiccup of signing up, I managed to ask some niche-related questions - for example - how to do a liver flush.
I found the AI to be right on point with the answers and was quite impressed with how accurate the detail was. I think CHAT GPT is definitely something I will be using in the future.
Have you got any thoughts about this?
I don't think CHAT GPT will replace humans, but it can definitely help us brainstorm ideas...

I have asked some pretty obscure questions about fishing equipment and been amazed at the information. I use the technology for research, but not for writing. I enjoy that to much to give it up to a program even if the program is a better write than I am.

I’ll want to give you an important heads up regarding OpenAI and Bard.
Very detailed information is not the same as very accurate info.
When using ChatGPT, be sure to double check everything, unless you are absolutely sure that what it’s telling you is correct.
AI can draw incorrect conclusions from assumptions it makes while collecting data from the Internet and human interactions.
As it continues to evolve it will improve.

Chat GPT is still really new so we have to check and re-check everything it gives us in the way of information and answers.
So far I've asked it to come up with a 300 word per each chapter of 10 chapters in a book (hope that's clear).
I find Chat GPT fast and fun. It makes me think more.
Jasper costs $80 dollars a month and this is going to give Jasper a run for the money...!
That's true, Stella, but ChatGPT may not always have a free membership. It's still in the beta stage of development, so we'll see what happens going forward.
Hopefully, they will keep the free option. 😎

Yes, I have been using it for the last week to get accustomed to it and it is certainly helpful. As you say, it won’t replace humans ( never, I hope), but it is very helpful in na lot of ways.

The amount of material discussing how the governments and law makers and corporations will use and regulate AI is staggering. I think it's got great potential for research et al, but some publishers are saying they won't let you copyright material you have used AI to create. How that can be tracked...who knows.
I remain on the fence, Stella! This is coming in too fast and furious to be good. I'll let all the dust and fallout settle, and then see what transpires! I'm glad you like it though!

I wasn't expecting the CHAT GPT to come up with such an accurate response to a liver flush protocol.
It's an old folk remedy you see. I figured if the AI came up with the answer to that, it has a lot to offer.
It likely does, but there are a lot of issues in the news about it. I am always slow to change when something new comes out, preferring instead to wait out the bugs and controversies first. Besides, I have a full plate already in my neck of the woods! It is interesting to see things develop though.

My 2 cents worth Jeffoi is that it won’t replace the human touch, it can’t in my opinion.( otherwise we are in big trouble) as then it would have to understand empathy and emotions. And I can’t see where it could recognize sarcasm.
I think it’s like when calculators first came out and a lot of teachers were protesting ( yup, in the street stuff) that this would be the start of the downfall of western civilisation.
If used sensibly and not as a tool to replace writing completely, I think it will be a good tool. Also, me thinks that the Googles an Bings etc will find a way to catch those that abuse this “new fangled” tool. Anyway we will have probably blown ourselves up before then anyway, or the AI’s will have taken over.
