Recently, and I am not sure if it was after the latest WP update, But most certainly after I configured the SumoMe plugin, I can no longer access the settings of the plugin. I

Just deactivate the plug and remove it then reinstall and should be OK

Paul,
I have the same plugin installed on my siterubix test site and I am getting the same results, even after deleting it and reinstalling it. I have put a ticket in with Sumo as well as our support team here at WA. Sumo can't find a problem with the setup, so it is highly suspicious that it is something her at WA causing it. Googling the error comes up with several solutions that involve manipulating code, which I am not comfortable with. I am confident WA support will find a solution.
Thanks,
Kathy

Thoes guys can fix anything !!!

Let me add that I get a Wordpress error: "Sorry you are not allowed to access this page". This is not happening to any other plugin with a settings option.

Thanks,
Kathy

Hey Kathy,

Have you gone to the plugin's support forum to see if there is a resolve offered there? If not, you can join the forum (create an account) and post a cry for help there.

Hi,
The actual error is generated by Wordpress. Sumo has been very supportive and their troubleshooting finds no error with the plugin setup or configuration. Googling the exact error has produced several solutions that worked for others, but they involved code manipulation, which I am not comfortable with. I've submitted a ticket to WA support and awaiting their results.
I was putting it out to the WA community in hopes that someone else had had the problem.
Thanks for responding :-)
Kathy

I finally have an active subscriber!! I use MailerLite as my autoresponder and prompt after sign up. How do I set up a weekly mailer for my subcribers?

Help!

-Kath

Kathy thanks for pointing this program out. It is much classier than mail chimp and free for 1,000 subscribers. Great program!

Thanks to everyone who responded. I found my answer. MailerLite has the ability to set up Newsletters. It was located under campaigns. Pretty snazzy setup,
-Kathy

Hi Kathy, you could use Aweber. Irv.

www.mailchimp.com is used by many here.

Kathy,

You should be able to schedule a time for your e-mails to go out in your preference pages in your theme area. If not you can always do a search in the search bar for better information if I am leading you down the wrong path.

I have found more than once that a blog post that I have share on Google Plus has ranked in Google, but not the blog post it's self. Anyone have any ideas why?

http://go

You can see your G+ post while you're logged into your G+ account from the same browser on the same device. Try checking it from the different browser or use Incognito mode- you'll see it's gone.
To check how your post ranks use Jaaxy' site ranking.

Thanks for responding!! I will do that!
-Kathy

This is their "bonus" for members only. BTW, anyone logged into their G+ accounts will see your G+ post, so, it's not bad anyway.

That is quite normal, in particular in the early stages of your website. Google is ranking your Gplus posts simply because you are logged into your Google account and it will base it's results on that.

As your website gets more and more established and gains more authority, you will start to see your new (and old) posts ranking better and better in Google and other search engines.

Hi Kyle,

Thank you for answering my question. I was totally unaware that the GooglePlus post would rate so high. That explains it perfectly!
Whew!

My menu items are not all on the same line. I don't want them underneath. I have removed my social icons and my search link.

Yes. I agree that a custom menu best serves your requirements.

Thank you, everyone for your suggestions!! I ended up adding submenus after all. Now I can keep my social icons and my search bar.
May the Blessings Be to all of you!!
-Kathy

hi Kathy, i would place the privacy and about me either in the footer or create a menu item with sub pages. shortening the names will help put them on the same line. again custom menu items with # for the url will take you nowhere, then add the others as subpages.
have fun

Kathy you might think about shortening the titles. Welcome instead of the complete phrase. Take you privacy policy out of the menu bar it does not need to be there.Maybe essential oil suppliers instead of the longer phrase

Just checked your site, the social icon is too small, and does not show properly. Left a message on your teeth whitening post.

Thank you for the comment! I left one on your site as well :-)
-Kathy

Many thanks.

Any social media plugin that you choose will show you how it will look like in the details, if you don't like what you see, choose another one. You cannot change the settings. What you can change is WHERE it is placed, top, bottom or sides. So just explore and choose the one you like.

Eventually create a custom menu, put it on the side bar and live only 2,I would put about me and privacy policy in the custom menu, then I'll make one of them a subitem.
Also, you can transform some posts with shorts title in pages, and maybe it will be place for more using a plugin

@dorina62 I think a custom menu is going to be the answer, but just to check, I've sent a message to the Olsen theme support. I will post their response.
-Kathy

For sure, the theme is made like this!I use a theme which gives me some headache!
