Site speed can be frustrating if it's an actual problem.
Is your site speed and page loading times really bad and so you're trying to remedy it? If they're bad, then sure, you'll want to do what you can to fix it.
But if your site speed is just fine, don't kill yourself (or kill your site) trying to fix it. I've seen people spend weeks on "fixes" that literally shave milliseconds off page loading times to give them a better site speed number that is completely unnoticeable.
If your page loading times are creating a bad user experience, definitely fix them. If not, I'd prioritize other things.

Your question is actually helping me understand site loading speed more. Specifically, the items that slow the speed. I just learned that png files slow the speed more than jpeg. Thanks for your question because it also gives me information as I see the responses.
I am hoping you get this worked out successfully, Stacey!

I am not aware that WA includes CDN with our hosting here unless, of course, your site is hosted elsewhere.
WA doesn't include a CDN. However, you can get it through a WP Plugin. I've used ShortPixel AI and WP Rocket. They both offer a paid CDN service.
Hi, Stacey
No, you can use an image compression app, like Imagify, or a CDN that will serve your images in the WebP format.

Hi, Abie
I use Imagify, and it automatically creates WebP images from my jpg and png files. 😎

My website #s are good, but I am still struggling with my mobile #s very poor.
personally i use autoptimize as the main one to speed up ....
with async javascript if necessary...
both plugins...
or if looking at a paid solution then wprocket - but check with support if it is allowed...
i didn't think so - still a security risk and others have had problems with hte hosting here and jetpack....

Hi, Abie
I use Imagify and find it has the best jpg and png compression algorithms of any available plugin, with virtually no noticeable degradation in image quality .
I serve all my website images in WebP format.

How do I know if this is good? I feel it is horrible and I am not sure what to think. I have 14 articles published and 2 product reviews.

Stacey that's actually really good. You're already growing an audience just 5 weeks in and that will grow. The key thing you've done so far is put yourself on a great schedule creating content. You're right at 3 per week, keep that up! And one major thing is to not fall in love with overanalyzing your analytics. Make your entire focus on growing that content. It's like checking the scale after every workout. It only makes you feel like you're not accomplishing things. Instead, check it maybe once a month. Focus on building and growth! Great job so far. :)
Continue to create more helpful user intent content it takes several months for you to see the stats improve this is normal, not bad. Just keep writing content. It's better to focus on creating high-quality content with calls to action at end of your post and internal linking to other relevant pages. Keep going. You are doing all the right things continue!
Those numbers are looking just fine, and the Time on Page is really good, with people spending on average almost 2 minutes. This means they are seeing value in your content, are captivated by it and actually going through it.
Also, struggle with Site Kit feedback about speed or image issues. This is all so new to me, so not sure where to go. IN Level 5 training at this point,
