wa is a website like every other site .
this means that any blogs you create on here can rank and get you referrals.
there are very few areas of wa that are protected from google's eyes.
so see every contact here as a possibility of gaining a referral.
why is it disturbing?

there is an article about getting your blogs on here ranked - so it is not kept a secret, i think it is in the course.
with the domain authority of wa it makes it easy to get noticed in google for the right keyword.
I have never seen this before but if you publish a blog or training within WA then it does get seen on the internet and this is good because it brings visitors to your blog or training and you never know but they might like what they see and sign up and you get the credit.
Hi Robert, I just think this should be communicated with WA members in case some people don't want to be all over google
It could be you saw your particular question because you where looking for your site but you can't stop the search engines finding blogs or training and why would you want them to?
Mainly for privacy reasons. However, now I know that its public and that's the information I was seeking. Thanks again for your helpful response

Yes, everything is public - apart from content sent through the appropriately named "Private Messaging" feature (accessible via the envelope icon in the top right).
Also - just to add, internet security tip - always assume everything you post is public, unless explicitly told otherwise.
That's good to know and very strange that it should be public. @kyle @carson maybe a good idea to inform people about this ?!
As I say, there should be no need to inform people as most people online live by the general rule of thumb that content they publish IS public unless explicitly told otherwise - and nowhere at WA is it mentioned that any content is private. In fact Kyle & Carson actually stress through the lessons that you can share member content here with others outside of WA.
Thanks for getting back to me. I really didn't expect the WA chats to be public, but it is good to know they are - for future reference

HI,
I am planning to sign up for a year of Premium membership at a rate of USD 359 $. I have a few questions before signing up:
Can I cancel my membership anytime?

Hi - you can cancel your membership at any time, but there are no refunds. If you do cancel, and you have a purchased domain, you are given 30 days in which to move the website to another host.
You could always join for the first month at $19 and see how you get on. You then still have the option to go yearly
Hi, Diane thank you for your helpful response! you say I can take a domain I purchased with me, does this mean, the domain which I accessed for free through WA, I cannot take with me?
Hi - no, if you are only using the free sites, they are subdomains and are not your property.
no if you sign up for the year then there is no refund - as per the terms.
if you have purchased domains and have them hosted here you are free to move them whenever you want to.
have you checked out the terms of service
