Sick and Snowed in with the kids!
Hi Everyone!
Do you know how you make plans and then those plans get totally ruined? Well, that is how it was today. My SO was sick as a dog last night, so I spent a lot of time tending to them. Then I wake up to almost 6 inches of snow and a closed preschool! Ok, no problem! I will just hang out with the kids and stay in our pjs and just enjoy being in each other's company, while I work on some content.
Nope!
I'm sick too! So are the kids! Lol. Sometimes life can throw some major curveballs and you just have to know how to deal with it. I have one child asleep and one child preoccupied with cartoons, so I'm gonna carve out some time to write.
What are you guys doing on this snowy day?

Sorry, I left the snow behind about 20 years ago and really have no desire to go back. It was cold here around Christmas (it got down to 15 degrees Celsius, but only for a day or so. Now it is back to 30 and should stay that way.
When I was in the Cold weather, yes, nothing better than a warm fire on a snowy day.
It has only snowed once where I live and that snow melted as soon as it hit the ground so it's never been a problem but I can understand how it could be though. I'm sorry you got sick, hopefully you will be feeling better soon! Best wishes to you!
I am used to snow... This year we don't have yet. But weather people are saying - it will come. Anyway, winter brings some unpleasant surprises as well... Get well soon... and maybe, enjoy the winter.
So sorry to hear about all of you being sick. I remember what it's like to have sick little ones at home. When one's sick, everyone else gets sick. Not fun. Sounds like you're making lemonade out of lemons. You've got a beautiful outlook. I hope you all get to feeling better soon.

I'm so sorry you are all sick. I have the flu myself. In fact, I think I'm going to have to put the laptop away and lie back down.
I went to the doctor today to get some TamiFlu because I knew I had the flu. I walked out with a prescription for an antibiotic as well because I am close to having pneumonia again.
He also sent a throat swab off to be cultured even though the quick strep test came back negative. He said my uvula was very inflamed. When I get sick, I get sick. I never do anything half-way.
Hopefully, it won't last long.
