Drama, Drama, Drama - NO MORE!
Drama, drama, drama...... Today, I would like to remind everyone that we NEED to be focusing on our goals. Not drama.
If we focus on drama and/or our pity party problems; we could find ourselves getting swept up in the trash. The picture above is of a Giant Broom & Dust Pan located outside the Denver Art Museum, in Denver CO.
Can you see the little person in the middle of the picture? Look real close by the lower white paper. She has dark hair. I don't know about you, but I don't want that to be me caught up in the trash.
The more I think about drama that I can't control, the less I am working on writing content for my website. Each of us are surrounded with trash practically every day. Or at least those of us in the United States are.... Turn on the news - what do you hear? A lot of trash. A lot of sad things. A lot of things that we have NO control over. That we will never have control over. Today, I choose to think positive. I choose to focus on what I can control.
We have already seen some wonderful WA progress reports today. Each of these people did not get hung up on drama or things they could not control. Each person focused on what they could control.
Get Disciplined. Focus on What you can Control
When Reyhana, discussed her February results, I loved a remark that she made. She decided to ignore the things that she could not control. Instead she focused on writing more content and making some videos. Way to go Reyhana!!!

I brush my teeth every day. I also try to watch or listen to at least one motivational speaker every day.
"Embrace the Suck"
This week, one of my favorites was David Goggins YouTube video about "Embracing the Suck" The majority of people settle for being mediocre. Yet if you want to succeed, you have to face your fears head on. Do what is uncomfortable. Ignore the distractions. In the world of affiliate marketing, we need to:
1. Work on our training.
2. Write & Publishing Content
3. Maybe make some videos, work on our social media plans or PPC strategies....
These are all activities that will help our businesses.
We are All Self Made
My other favorite speaker this week was Earl Nightingale. I think he may have been quoting someone else when he said:
"We are all self-made. Only those who are successful are willing to admit it."
My notes on the Earl Nightingale discussion also included, "We become what we think about." Our thoughts are like seeds. If we plant negative seeds in our mind, negativity will grow. If we plant beautiful positive thoughts, beautiful positive things will grow. It is your choice.

Today is the first day of March.
So please, let us all focus on what we can control. Refuse to be mediocre. Focus on creating success.

Originally, I was looking for a swan picture for this post. I felt that it represented peace, beauty and being who you are. Yet, I couldn't find the "perfect" one.
Yeah, Sondra, I gave away my TV 10 years ago I just did not have the will power not to watch the news which always left me feeling like the sky was falling. now I read what I care about and leave the rest, now I have peace and time to concentrate on building my business.
The news is challenging.
I hope that your March is going to be an absolutely amazing month - that is productive, profitable and full of peace.

This is exactly what I´ve been thinking about lately. That you need to focus on what you can control. I read a book called "Law of Attraction". The message is that what you focus on expands. So you should focus on positive things, because the law of attraction ensures that you get more of the same kind of energy you give out.
This is not just some "new age non-sense". If you think about it, it is only logical. But it also applies to the power of thoughts. Positive thoughts give out positive energy, and you attract positive things into your life because of that.
How funny that you mentioned that. I agree 100%. You have described it very well.
There is a Bob Proctor Law of Attraction/Vibration video on YouTube that I watch, especially on days that I find myself in a funk. It always helps me regain my positive energy.
I need to see if I can find the book you are referring to. That sounds like one that I would like to have in my library. Thanks for telling me about it.

One of my daily affirmations items is a video entitled "The Secret To You" (and if I recall correctly, it is from or associated with "The Law of Attraction")
It is available on YouTube and other places, and I highly recommend it :-)
