Omg! I think that might have done it! You are a rock star! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Such a simple fix that I didn't even consider. I tried so many other things but nothing was working.

I had a website/domain with InmotionHosting but am trying to move it to WA. Can I keep my settings from the previous domain? I had it set up the way I wanted it already but WA
I don't know about proving it is yours. If you are a premium member, you should be able to transfer it here.

I have a follow-up question, because I want to do this as well. What do I actually need to move my old domain to WA? It's been registered with another service provider ages ago.... I mean surely there's something to prove I owe the domain I want move over? Thanks a million!
Hi Lizzu
I had a similar problem a month or so ago. To cut a long story short, I found out that I would be able to transfer my domain name to WA which requires an EEP code, just like queenofkings has said so your site stays hosted by your original provider. In the end, because my site hadn't progressed too much, it was easier for me to start from scratch with building my site at WA. I know that this doesn't help you much but I just felt that that was the only way to go at the time.
Cheers

If WA says you have to build a new site, then I guess that is what you need to do. WA has nice free themes and you can set your settings pretty much the way you want...

You are not able to transfer your old site to wealthy affiliate but you can host that domain name here. You would need to build a new site if you decide to do that.
If it is a WordPress website then you can try backing up your files then uploading it to your website that you host here at WA. You might be able to save some of your settings but not sure because I have not tried it myself.
There are plugins that you can use that can backup your files and settings but it might be a tuff task to do. I think it's best to build one here from scratch and take it from there.
You are welcome. Sometime in the future, you would be able to transfer your website to wealthy affiliate but just not at this time.
