My name is Ernest (Ernie) Smartt. At this stage in my life I am retired, and working as a full time teacher. The work I do involves working in the area of behavior modification. I work with kids who have behavior issues.
I love writing, doing research, and giving my opinion. It is a pretty sure thing that I am among many like minded people here.
I am interested in earning an extra income on the Internet, but mostly I want to learn how to help others to the same. Trying to get new streams of income started is not an easy thing, so if I can give some shortcuts along the way for some who are struggling, I want to do just tat.
The very center of my life is my Heavenly Father. That automatically makes people the center of my life. If I happen to let God slip into a post or a page in my websites, that is because He wanted to be there. I try to be always ready to give an answer for the hope that ins in me.
I am also interested in becoming a part time motivational/inspirational speaker. I have been speaking to students for many years, and I'd love to take that as my retirement activity. God has used those talks, and changed lives.
The reason I am here at WA is to learn how to increase my income and help others to do the same. I want to learn how to do a professional Blog, and reach tons of people.
More of my interests are Christian and social lifestyle research, healthy living, art, crafts, Bible Study, Internet marketing, motivating and inspiring people as they move on to the next months and years of their lives, and a ton more.
I have had an awesome life. I have a hero Dad. He was a WW II hero, and my personal hero. I served in the U S Army, My Dad served in the U S Air Force. My Mom served in the US Army Aif Force, My Brother served in the U S marines, and my sister served in the U S Army.
I carried the Olympic torch in 2001 for the 2002 Olympics. I have held and touched a Dallas Cowboy Super Bowl Ring, a Heisman Trophy (and I met the one who earned it, Billy Sims). I did a radio commercial once and wrote the song, sung it, and never got to hear it.
Life is full or great opportunities, and we need to go after many of them. I love telling stories and am trying to start a Blog for that. I call it, "Tell A Story, change A Life."
Now I am beginning this leg of my journey. I am struggling, and sometimes want to give up. However, I have to keep plugging away, and striving to touch the lives of other people.
