Daily Facts - Day #9: 13x ROI with blogging
Recently I've told you that ...
Marketers who have prioritized blogging, are 13x more likely to achieve a positive ROI (Return On Investment).
This is why blogging is literally crucial if you want to succeed with your digital marketing.
But why is so incredibly powerful?
Well, I was able to "find" 9 major reasons & benefits:
1. A blog is a practical web publishing tool
Many individuals and business entities don’t have a website that they can add content to without the help of a webmaster, and as a result, these sites are always out of date. When you have a blog, you can publish your new content online in a heartbeat, even if you are a completely non-technical person.
2. A blog is great for SEO
Basically every time when you publish a new piece of content, you invite the crawlers to come out and to re-index your site and is a well-known fact, search engines love new content. With blogs is extremely easy to publish new content, so if you have a basic understanding of how search engine optimization works, you can raise up your rankings quicker and much more easier.
3. Blogs are social
Fact is: before there was Facebook and Twitter, there were blogs. We could say, that blogs represented the beginning of social media. Why? Because, the commenting system – which basically is an interactive communication channel – is an incorporated basic feature that can be found on every single blog.
4. A blog is a powerful list building tool
Blogs come by default with a built-in subscription functionality. When you publish a new content masterpiece, your subscribers will get it automatically. Instead of having to go to your site and check and see if you have new content, they can just subscribe to your blog to get any new content automatically. If you can create good content on regular basis, you can create a real win-win situation. They will get the information or help they need, and you’ll have the possibility to build your list fast and efficiently.
5. Blogging is an efficient lead-generation tool
A blog can be also used as an efficient lead-generation tool. Blogging is the perfect way to get new people through the door. Your blog will help you to attract new customers to your company before they even know who you are. In other words, will help you to attract new, different buyers at the top of your sales funnel.
6. A blog will help you to build trust
A consistent and systematic blogging strategy will help you to position yourself as a thought leader and and educational authority. In our noisy world this is extremely important, because this is how your customers will learn to trust you.
7. It’s ridiculously easy to use
Building a beautiful and efficient website in HTML or PHP requires technical skills and knowledge in programming. With a blog literally anybody – even my grandmother, who believe it or not, isn’t the best PHP programmer in the world – can add content to the internet instantly and independently.
8. Blogs are interoperable
The most popular blogging platforms are not built on proprietary technologies. In other words, they are free. WordPress, the most popular blogging platform in the world is a free, open-source project and currently powers almost 27% of the entire internet. What does it mean? It means that you can choose anytime to move your content from a given blog to another content management system.
9. Blogs are whatever we make them
This is why blogs are so incredibly powerful. Because you can do whatever you want! You can choose the blogging platform, the layout, the visual components, the content types, the length of your message, the optimal publishing frequency, the preferred tone and voice, etc. You have full control. You can do almost anything to find the perfect solutions and strategies that will help you to build trust and to establish new, long-term relationships.
You are the plenipotentiary decision maker and this is why a blog represents a unique chance to get what you really deserve. It can easily become an appreciated and trusted source of information for both your customers and for search engines. If you can create reliable, useful content and you can find the best ways to expose your content to a well-targeted audience, you can conquer the world.
What is your opinion? Do you agree? Did I forgot something?

I am such a whatever sometimes. Did I forgot something?
Please use spell check next time. I am way too confused with
all this training, I just can't handle it anymore. Huge tear rolls down
my cheek.
Oh by the way I need your help once again. Google analytics can't find me. Personally I think they just do not want anything to do with me.
I have to do a copy and paste of some of the feed back I get from Google. I think you will be able to figure out what I am doing wrong this way. Besides being a confused person I am very confusing. I do get indexed and all of that but when it comes to traffic there is nothing. Please I have to go out right and I hope you around when I get back. Thank you much.
Aside from your tips about the website set up. I will definitely digest this additional info and put that in consideration.
Blogging alone can serve many useful purposes beyond marketing and income generation.
People who feel the need to share their experiences (good, bad and in-between) and to be able to connect with others for emotional/psychological support will find blogging and the accompanying online community a tool for healing and recovery.
As you mentioned here (and in another post), blogging is the most effective means of communicating with your audience.
So now, I am taking this cue to get back to blogging myself!
This advice is worthy of a print-out and is prominently placed in my key advice notebook for primary reference. Zed you're a godsend dude....... thanks from a struggling novice !!!
