OK ... I already know your next question ... To invest effort in what?

Check out the following thought-provoking stats and you'll find the answers. The data comes from a survey conducted by Mitt Ray, the founder of Social Marketing Writing. Here are the most exciting questions and answers:

I haven't yet invested the time but I am not going to be found short in the effort or willingness to learn and change departments.

I hope

That's the right attitude Adrian :)

Thanks for reading!

Very interesting. You know, I started with LinkedIn when I first went to social media, but have kind of let it fall by the wayside. I think it's time to get active on the site again.

You give great indications as to where we should place our emphasis. I notice, too, that ads are one of the factors that can destroy credibility. I know if I'm looking at a site and there are lots of ads, it turns me off.

Case studies and how-tos? Now, that is interesting. I know of a couple of posts I could do on those subjects. You have been helpful, yet again.

Hopefully I was Fran :) That's the goal ...

Once again, thanks for your time and your feedback!

For me, I have a problem mostly with #2 and #4. I don't really have a big FB following and I don't do case studies or write how-to posts.

I'm mostly doing reviews.

We all follow different paths Reyhana ...

And this is why the above fact could be helpful :)

Thanks for your time!

Thanks for sharing.. :)

Thanks for reading!

Man, this gives me a better outlook on my website and content creation. Thanks for sharing.

That's the point C :)

Thanks for your time!

Thanks again Zed.

Thank YOU!

Probably not as I haven't built a big enough following yet.

Derek

They'll come Derek!

And hopefully the above facts can help you to speed up the process :)

Yes but that is only my opinion so far lol

That's an honest answer Alan :)

Thanks!

Hey 2 thumbs up Smartketeer. Really enjoyed seeing this first thing this morning. I just got indexed by google a week ago. Then got kind of busy with my home repair business and now got some time for W A again. I"m right at the point where I am going back on my first three blogs and adding key words and some enriching my sight home page with a little imagery on the blogs as well as some design work. Its so dull looking, needs color, It needs something to make it pop. Any tips on what I should focus more on at this time?

First of all thanks for your feedback Ned!

Regarding your question ... According to your profile you haven't even started the OEC training yet. I'd suggest to follow that path and all your questions will be answered. You should start here: Zed

I don't know that LinkedIn scores high in social media sector that add credibility to a blog.
Thanks for sharing this Zed. I need to reactivate my LinkedIn account.

Joe

Thanks for your feedback Joe!

As you know, LinkedIn is a B2B platform. For B2C sites and blogs could be completely irrelevant and inefficient.

On the other hand, as a B2B avenue is highly trusted ...

That makes a lot sense to me.
Thanks again.

Joe

Thank YOU!

Good charts Zed. Hard to measure trust...there's initial trust which can falter with additional information or time and then there's long term trust... the hardest and most difficult to obtain which is worth all the gold in the world. Marketing by it's nature strains most peoples definition of trust because there is always behind it an ulterior motive.....so one has to work doubly hard to earn trust. The standard is held very very high....and as you said gone in an instant.
Cheers :))

Well said John!

The standard is very high ... and trust is very volatile.

Thanks for your feedback!

Zed

anytime my friend :))
