Another cute Twitter fact: journalists love Twitter. In my country, the Netherlands, (traditional) media use Twitter as a very important source for their daily (news) shows. All my former colleagues found many, if not most, of their interesting stories on Twitter.

I think it's the same in other European countries, as well as in the USA and Canada. Not sure about other parts of the world. I know too little about media there.

So... if you manage to make a buzz on Twitter, or have a viral tweet, chances are media will pick up on it. It's not easy to achieve, I know. But hey, let's aim high ;-)
