Is there a profile for a scammer?
Yes i believe so.
Trying to earn money on the internet has been a costly lesson for me. And offcourse I am mostly to blame for this. Being of a generation before the internet i had no clue what I was going into and what i was doing. Call me naive, maybe stupid, it is all true, and I trusted people. I never thought this would happen to me.
Last year iI was scammed as you may have read on this blog. I still have a lot of feelings around the subject. I'm usually a very careful, thoughtful person about money, why is it that I fell into this trap? Everyday it is here with me, everyday I am thinking about this, I am confronted with a bad money situation, I may have to move, all because of a scam.
You may think , she shouldn't have been so stupid, so naive, at least that's what I'm thinking .And still, I am a victim of a scammer. Why didn't I see it?
Is a scammer a criminal? Yes absolutely so, ruthless and without compassion. Scamming is their goal and to get as much money as possible.
I didn't see it because of his nice personality. ????? Yes, repeating, nice personality
So friendly, so interested in me. And I didn't hear any bells ringing yet. I was in a vulnerable position, i was alone and my husband had recently died. I was worried about my money situation, did I have enough to live on, etc, etc, Being a very private person i didn't want to share this with my children. And here was this nice person who seemed to know all the answers.
Beautiful examples too, from his work, and his charity for disabled children. Now that was a coincidence, I have a daughter that way. Or was it not a coincidence? He worked his ass of he said to work on the charity project and was talking about a lot of money he managed to get for the disabled people. That rang a bell with me, very sympathetic that was.
Here it is, scammers are nice persons!I and offcourse they are not, they only seem to be so. It is a strategy. I was so surprised when found out about this whole strategy.
They will build a realtionship with you, they take their time to talk to you about their children, about my children. They talk about spritual things, they reassure you, they make you believe he is your saviour. You start to believe them. I did anyway.
They must let you believe they are nice persons, which makes sense, otherwise nobody would be scammed!

My scammer made be believe my money problems would be over,
Repeatedly he would say: I am capable of changing your whole life, trust me!He was quite right, he changed my whole life.
This is one of the worst things about scamming, your trust is betrayed and it hurts terribly.
What else did he use? He took me on the phone with him to his house, I heard his children cry, twins he said, and I wondered, why doesn't he pay attention to them. Later I found out it was just a recording, there were no children at all.He just played it to make you believe he has kids. Twins in this case.
His name is Jake Lewis. . A fake name offcourse, I don't know his real name. You will find him nowhere on the internet. Jake is a fabulous trader, wihtin a few days i was close to a 80.000 dollar on my account.
Later we- I am in a group - found out he could manipulate anything, the trades, the expirations, the time, anything.
Jake and I seemed to have a lot in common,, family, children etc
YES
A scammer will Google you, he will look you up on Google to see what your interest are, he will know a lot about you. As i am interested in spirituality he used spiritual quotes that made me think, wow, he really know something about that. He will Google you to see the house where you live . Anything is possible on the internet,
Most off all he will completely squeeze you dry moneywise.
In May I was supposed my money back, I had made a withdrawal request.because finally I had heard the alarmbells. I asked only about the money I had invested, I needed some money badly. I had tried to withdraw before but he always had a story ready why i just had to wait a little longer.
Finally the day was there.I was going to have my investment back...
Not so, on that day I there was only 13 cents left on my account.
I can't describe how I felt when I saw this. Later I found out that It was put into longtrades that I never asked for and 6 weeks later they all expired out of the money.
I am telling this because believe that scammers are very, very dangerous and very clever. if someone is nice and understanding, be warned!
Scamming is a terrible threat on the internet and it's all about money. I had the bad luck to fall into the hands of the worst criminal and I was the perfect victim for him.Jake's history goes back about 10 years on the internet. He is hard to find but there are stories about him..Later i found out that Jake Lewis and his friend David Coleman, the so called lawyer of the firm have a a long history in scamming with lotteries and dating services. They are incredible stories.
If you've read this far, thank you for that, maybe this story will prevent another person to become a victim of the criminal Jake Lewis. If you want too you are very welcome to share this .
The firm though still exists under the name of BSDOPTION making no doubt other victims.
