Launched 1st Video Series on YouTube - New Channel

Hello my Fellow Entrepreneurs,
I have decided from my learning here in WA along with a long journey of observing other You Tube Channels over the past 20 years.
With my own personal touch!
I have just
launched a You tube Video Series!

I have scheduled content creating for release once a week.
I think that it is imperative to utilize all forms of social media like You Tube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, to name a few!
Kyle shows in the WA Entrepreneur Online training how important social media is and how you can transfer different messages to different audiences and settings.
I currently use Facebook as my main social media platform. But I do coincide posts to LinkedIn which has just as many views of my content, just different audience and setting,
I also use Instagram, however I have not attained much of an audience there, only a few hundred of genuine followers.
On Facebook I have found keeping daily posting in General Newsfeed is necessary to keep the content viewable, in the algorithm of Facebook,
Instagram I have been posting every few days for over 6 years and it is has been next to impossible for me to get views even with # hash tagging. I only recently found larger views there by doing Short videos.
I guess it is like everything, it takes practicing different strategies that may work personally for your own unique take or viewer spectrum.
I know some people get lost with what exactly can be good content that does not take all day to produce, as we do not really want to be on social media for more than few hours total over the whole day!
It does take a lot of negating time and resources.
You need to be time conscious and be careful in many aspects with what resources are used. Is it effective?
What to do exactly takes much consideration to plan a healthy stream of content.
But it also needs to feel free and not constricted.
But at the end of the day all social media is advertising your needs and how you can help other peoples needs to be met.

Congratulations on starting a YouTube channel; that's a great thing to do. I also recently started a new YouTube channel just over a month ago. I think you may have commented on my post. I do find YouTube quite powerful, especially when we are able to post regularly. As we know, consistency is key.
I actually find it quicker to make a YouTube video than I do the right blog post. However, my videos are not particularly fancy; they are more straight to the point! I really wish you well with your YouTube channel.
It is interesting that you have tried several different social media platforms, it appears that different platforms work for different people. I know many people who use Facebook; however, I just find it such a clunky platform and just not really user-friendly. Whereas, Twitter, which I like, is quick to use, although it may not have the traction that Facebook has. So there is, for and against. Although I do believe that Elon Musk is taking massive steps to improve the platform.
It's interesting about Instagram, I hear some people say they get absolutely fantastic results. However, I have never particularly liked the platform and I don't fully understand it! Occasionally, someone has referred me to their Instagram channel for more information and all I see are photographs and pictures! That's not very informative to me.
LinkedIn is a great platform and great for professionals, I really think that LinkedIn is very underrated. For the last few months, I have been trying to use the platform more and more as I think it has absolutely massive potential.

Yes I agree it varies so much the social media platforms and I am glad you mentioned Twitter as I did not speak this as I have an account with Twitter just never really used it much.
I initially linked up to social media being Facebook (19 years ago) first to keep in contact with my son who lived away from me at a very young age.
I then moved to Instagram to follow him, but he does not do much with it and I began to think to use it for my business affairs and so found LinkedIn and I love that professionalism more than most of the social media.
I further researched and found Wealthy Affiliate and my business has jumped out of the basket in how I have evolved in the online world.
You tube I have been observing for around 20 years and I have sourced some extremely helpful channels there,

It's a pleasure, I believe that by getting into conversation with members, we can help each other.
I have always liked Twitter from point of view of being quick to use. I believe that Elon Musk make some massive improvements over a period of time that will make it very competitive with the other networks.
I'm sure that Facebook is good for friends and family, but it's always come over as unprofessional for business, even though it's very popular for business!
Whenever I post anything on Facebook or look for a message or comment, just seems so clunky and hard work. I belong to a YouTube training platform, and they use Facebook for their forum. I avoid using the forum as it's on Facebook, it's a bit too painful. Especially when I compare it with the Wealthy Affiliate forum we are writing on, it's so easy. Facebook are always hiding messages or comments you have to keep clicking to find messages or comments!
I've always liked the professionalism of LinkedIn, to me, it stands out from the other networks as far more professional!
We are privileged to be part of the Wealthy Affiliate platform, it really is a very solid and friendly platform.
YouTube is a great place for information and to help grow your business. The only thing I have against YouTube is that they are not allowing free speech any more, it has to suit their narrative! Which is fine for most people. My newest YouTube channel is about Christianity and current news events etc., so I have to be a bit careful what I say!

Great to hear. With all the help from Eric, Roope, Vitaly, Jay, Kyle etc. we have all we need to launch and maintain channel(s) With all this being part of the many benefits of our Premium and Premium Plus memberships, may as well take advantage of them, they're there for a reason.
I actually purchased a new computer just for YouTube ( I plan to take a video editing course or two). I am a very visual person and cannot wait to get it up. I think it's a great way to provide answers, monetize and get your product, service, and/or message out to people. I read somewhere that 67% of people choose YouTube over TV and reading blogs. So, why not read our blogs to them with ourselves or some beautiful relevant backgrounds? For FREEEE!!!

I have not watched Tv for over 15 years now, in fact I do not own a TV, I only have been watching YouTube for that time.

You are welcome. I got rid of the TV 8 years ago. I watch YT documentaries and sports, only.
Yes I think as you said more people are moving away from the mainstream viewing and looking for more relevance to their own life than general entertainment viewing for the mass.

With the media fabricating most of their biased reporting more people like myself are utilizing honest real accurate news from the various YT channels. Why they're at it why not do some shopping? Have a great week down under.

I feel it is a time when it feels ok to do social media.
It is not something maybe everyone would enjoy doing I realize that.
Even I think it was Roope that said in his blog not everyone has to use there face, it can be voice only.
I have also seen some You Tube channels that just use pictures and light effects.

I'm not to sure about the whole video thing, kinda scary to me. I'm going to remain open to it though. You never know what this journey will bring. My grandkids make a new TikTok video everyother day! So obviously it can't be that hard or scary. LOL

I agree it can be scary especially using your own face, I am choosing to just use my hands at the moment and my voice and some edited words along with some copyright free music.
I am considering using doodle imaging videos too which does not require my face.
Yes the youth are right into video making and producing some really good content. I am sure your grandkids have heaps fun and could show you a trick or two 😊

The advice from experienced WA members on video is to just go for it even though you may not be polished at the start. Only practice and repetitiveness can help one get better. No amount of planning will achieve what you want the video to eventually be like. So just do it as that famous sage Nike says!
