Hello everyone, I have a issue with my images appearing in the finished blog as huge extra large than what I am using and sizing in the original article in WA content builder.<
Thanks Abie, I did not have this plug in Kraken.
I do now thanks heaps!
Kind regards
Erica
Hey Erica,
You need to make sure to only upload and use the EXACT size image that you want displayed, else you will use up your allotted server memory for your website, plus, your content will be VERY for your visitor's devices to load.
If you want to know how to resize your images BEFORE uploading, there are numerous tutorials offered right here on the WA platform.
See screen print below...
Hope you find this helpful.
Thanks so much Trish I appreciate the explanation on the process.
Do you recommend a certain size? Because I am reducing the image size and it is still not making a difference in my blog!
Kind regards
Erica
Your theme should state their recommended size when you search through the options offered under your WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customize, left-hand sidebar of options.
Okay I took a look in themes and appearance >customise, and there is no left hand side bar options.
I do not have this problem with all my pictures it is only happening with some and I have reduced the sizes and still they appear huge.
Thanks for the suggestions!
Erica
No left-hand sidebar under Appearance > Customize?
See screen print below...
What theme are you using?
Thanks so much Trish, I do not have that Layout section.
I got message from support and it may be my theme as you are saying here.
I have submitted a ticket to the theme team.
Thanks kindly
Erica
Erica! I am glad you asked this question because I have the same issue. I have been concerned because I just learned in one of the training classes that my images should not be as big as I have them. I am going to follow this thread because I know one of the more experienced affiliates will have the answer. One thing though. Someone did tell me to crop before I use it. I have not been able to do that. I hope this works out for both of us. lol!

Erica
Oh I see it actually has size preferences I could have realized that, I just was not sure!

I am going well thanks Jeff and I hope you are well!
I am reducing the size of my images to around what you suggested and it is still not making a difference to my picture sizes once published.
Erica
You can choose what size to display the right sidebar of your block editor in your posts and pages. We have Kraken installed by default.
