Wishing I could spend ALL day on my new niche website! I am so excited to be doing this I spent the night thinking of my new website instead of sleeping. Dreamed even on all the things I wanted to put on it. It's been a long time, if ever that I've been excited and looked forward to work. I guess because this doesn't feel like work. They say if you can find a job that doesn't feel like work you really have found a good thing. That what I feel like now that I found WA. Love the support here too. Hi Sherry, when I started out I was the same way. Always thinking about my company and what I wanted to do with it. I use to get a lot crazy ideas, i would get so many that I would forget some. So I started writing them down in a text file that I keep on my cloud drive. Best thing I ever did. :)
Welcome to my world Sherry! I still have nights like that. People could never understand why I would be up early or staying up late at night working on my site. But it's because I have all these ideas and it doesn't feel like work. And it's because I know the work I'm putting is building something I control. So I can totally relate. But just stay balanced. Otherwise you can burn yourself out. Sometimes you need to walk away and come back.
Enjoy it Sherry but don't over-do it at first. Just take it easy as this is not a race and give yourself the time you need to do those other things in your life that you have always been doing. You'll understand why I say this in a month or two. All the best, Simon
