Hi community. So I'm having trouble narrowing down my niche. I want my niche to be in the dog genre, but the advice is saying that is too broad. As I don't know anything abo
Vitaliy got you covered.
You ought to discuss an aspect of dogs to a qualified group of people who would be your target audience (that could be beginners or another group you have in mind).
The more focused a niche website is starting out, the better chance it has to start having traction and traffic.
Please be aware you also need to create lots of content addressing issues related to your focused niche website.
Most important is to be passionate and genuinely interested in your niche A Niche is A Group of People Looking for Stuff
Thanks @TheAbie. I've seen you respond this way to other members. When you say we "have to create a lot of content", forgive me if I haven't made it to that part of the training yet, but can you elaborate on this? Is this still coming up in the training? I'm still at Level 1: Lesson 4 - slow going as you know, full time job during the day, :)
Yes, you'd find ticking checklists bottom of lessons, tasks and activities asked of you to complete in order to set up properly and guide you through the process.
Also a niche is a subject you would help people by giving them advice on an aspect, walk them through your journey and then promote products however relevant.
And so essentially you are writing more informational posts so that you do not sound so salesy to Google and if there’s a solution, a detailed analysis review post for your visitors to let them make an informed decision whether to go click your links and go purchase the focused item you proposed to solve their issue.
Informational content is what brings traffic to your website. Without traffic, no sales, no conversions.
I hope that's more explanatory.
