IRS Refund Delay
Ok, it's getting to be that time of the year when we here in the USA have to start preparing for the upcoming tax season. With new tax laws already in full enforcement, millions of us will not see our tax refund until sometime in March or mid-April and maybe later.
You can expect an IRS refund delay if you are filing for a certain kind of tax credit.
This is a reminder/follow up of a training I wrote a couple of weeks ago. The name of that training is When Can You File Taxes For 2017. You can access that training at https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/when-can-...
The training will offer you some useful tips on what you will need to do to get ready, where to find free tax help, and the all important Taxpayer's Bill of Rights. I just want to make sure everyone understand how important it is to be ready for the tax season.
In addition, I included into the training my own opinion whether or not you should pay to have your taxes completed professionally or do it yourself. I explain what the benefits of both options.
Please understand that I am not a certified Tax preparer, nor do I plan to become one in the near future. I am just passing along the very important information about the IRS refund delay.
If you should have any questions about this post or training, please leave them in the comment section here on this post, or the training.
I thank you once again for allowing me to take up your valuable time. God bless now let’s get back to business.

i'm gratefully not affected by the IRS shortcomings.
Our equivalent here in the UK (HMRC) is not perfect but I find them reasonably quick to claim and quick to refund - as long as you submit on time and correctly.
Simple eh? and as my good friend Paul Goodwin observes - "all good fun"

Good luck with that! But.... many changes coming (today??) for the US. Maybe tax simplification will be one of them!

That's one thing I don't have to worry about, the IRS already has dibs on any money I would get back.
What do you expect of a broken agency that has been made a political pawn. Hopefully it will get straightened out under a new administration!
The President-Elect may have low popularity, but I can see a lot thing going back to being "Made In America"
