You can always just pin something from your site that way when people click on the pin it has the option to visit your site beneath it. This is what I do, I pin images from my site and that helps to generate traffic
I did manage to get a couple posted from my site without any problems. The training was from 2013 I think so a little out dated.
Well I'm glad you got some posted! There is a lot of training here on Pinterest, so you could always take a look at those if you need to, and I know Cath (CathH1) is like the Queen of Social Media, lol, so she can definitely help you out, too :)
