Old WA Pemium members. Where do they go ?

it feels like they go to the Big Internet in the sky. I have contacted many of them over the past week. But have received very few replies back and those seem to be just automated replies with nothing behind them. It's all very strange to me. And feels like I am at a funeral instead of a wedding.

I am a numbers guy. And the numbers I have counted, multiply and divided this week just do not add up.

RIP to the many internet businesses I have clicked on these past 7 days.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERONE ELSE AT WEALTHY AFFILIATE STILL HOPING THEIR DREAMS COME TO FRUITION.

People come, people stay, people go. It is natural within any community.

I can tell you that the satisfaction survey we send folks is through the roof high, so people typically don't want to leave WA...but their situation usually determines this. Either it is a time in their life where they simply don't have any time, family issues, money issues, etc.

People that leave, in particular in the early stages, tend to come back at a very high rate though (over 30% and climbing).

You are talking about the quitters? Expecting 10,000 grand a month after 2 month of half ass effort? Gone with the wind, I guess

John

Hi Samuel, I believe that about 50 % of the premium members are quiting before the year, not having the quick results they expected.

I see quiters and complains from people, who are here for 3 months, having 6 pages and 8 posts, and telling it doesnot work.
When you want this to work, you need to blogblogblog.

And you need to give it a chance to succeed.
Your website starts counting when it's 6 months or older, Google allready knows that most websites are coming and going between the 1 and 6 months, so then you don't count at all.

When you have 100 posts on your website it's starting to take of, when you have 200 posts on your website it started to thrive.

Most of the old WA-ers have given - up.

I made this plan here into a 12 years accomplishment. It will cost me $3588 for the total membership (unless the price goes up)

The first 3 years I have earned back allready. (I am here 1,5 year)
So I stay very positive, and I will succeed!

Success does not come with the wind, you have to work for it :)

Samuel listen, Loes knows.

I came when you did. I don't live in WA but I am fairly active and I do learn. The membership is so cheap I don't even worry about it.

Back when I started I read a blog from a very lovely and upbeat lady who was so confident that everyone reading her blog would be successful here at WA.

I hated to burst her bubble and tell her that although everyone had the tools to be successful here at WA, most wouldn't. That the 80-20 Rule would be in effect here as it was in the rest of the world. Meaning 20% of the people here at WA would make 80% of the money and 80% of the people would make 20% of the money. That was assuming of course that you could, in fact, qualify for that bottom 20%. She assured me in a very pleasant and friendly manner that she was sure that I was wrong.

I wonder what happened to that wonderful lady, I certainly do miss her oh so positive attitude.

I have a feeling that the harder somebody works the luckier they will get. Hoping, wishing and praying I've found at best is a 50/50 coin flip proposition. Hard work and persistence will increase your odds immensely.

Most but not all of the active members when I started are nowhere to be found. I read the average life of a premium (paid) member was 4 months. Some I know have moved on. I still get value from WA.

Yes I see value at WA. But I don't see the monetary results. I believe you learn from the past performances to predict future results. And these horses looked like they have been sent to the glue factory. The optimism is so strong that it's a strange feeling when walking through their internet graveyards.

Also if the 4 months is correct. And I expect that it is. Why is almost everyone I see here at WA a premium member ??? If you sign up for one month premium and decide to become a monk instead. Do you still keep the premium member button for life ?

Yes, this is a premium referral of me, he came, learned and left
