A couple setbacks
I joined WA on Feb 15, 10 days after rotator cuff surgery forcing me to take a 12 week medical leave. So the timing was perfect. I jumped into the training and had my website up in two weeks. I even had affiliate ads posted.
But between complications with surgery and now pneumonia (oh joy), I'm struggling to add content.
I am, however, narrowing down my niche from our power to choose, to choosing to age gracefully. I'm only 49 and yet I've been hit by some crazy illnesses and injuries leading to financial strain.
I'm starting to realize that this battle is the very thing I need to focus on. How many others get disillusioned and discouraged as they face aging issues with health, relationships, finances, employment, etc.
So, back to the Power of Choice... I choose to refocus my niche on aging gracefully in the midst of disheartening challenges. Still need to narrow down more but I think I'm headed in the right direction.

Sorry to hear you have been ill. I hope your on the road to recovery.
Stay focused and you will find/accomplish what you are looking for.
All the best to you.
Sounds like you're focusing in on where you want to go and that's great! I'll be praying for your healing and recovery.
Blessings,
Debby
I do hope you feel better soon, but why are you talking about raging at 49?!? You are still a spring chicken!! Personally, I intend to age disgracefully, if at all!! I just never tell anyone my age!!!
I had four or five ops on tendons and a hip replacement from 2009-2012, and it did take a time to recover, but I was absolutely determined to do so, and now I feel the best I have felt this century!!!! Positivity is the key to everything in life, and that obviously includes health and business!
All the best to you :)
That is so awesome to hear Chrissie. Thank your for sharing. I am determined to recover and enjoy life.

Focus. Each niche you come up with has tons of ideas to spin. As for aging 'gracefully' - 4 years ago right after my 60th birthday, I stumbled on our landing, and did a tuck and roll down the bottom half of our front stairs. Luckily - very luckily - what I hurt most was my pride. Had a sore right leg for a while. Heal quickly. Hope it provides months of writing ideas. Rod and Troy
Choosing a niche can be a challenging thing all on its own. In your case it sounds like the question is how narrow you want the focus to be. I went in kind of the same direction you did and ended up choosing rheumatoid arthritis, since I'm newly diagnosed and am researching things anyway. But sometimes a broader subject can make for a very effective niche. The bottom line is: when you think about doing the long-term work, expecially writing content, which one gets you more excited?
I hope you are feeling better each day - take good care of yourself!

Don't worry, everything will go in the right direction but take it slowly so the crazy illnesses will not set back. Thinking enough will go in the right direction and you will be guided thru.
Thank you for th encouragement.
