Some Secrets You Must Know As an Affiliate Marketer

Today, the Topic seem to change a bit. I want to actually talk about three (3) different Tools that can help you progress as toward success an affiliate Marketer.
Yes, these TOOLS are very helpful going forward, especially as the number of blog post you have on your website continue to increase. You will realize that somehow, your website speed seems to slow down a bit.
I have seen a couple of WA members here whose website were unresponsive when I tried to comment on their blog. Of course, I'm never saying that the WA site speed does not work.
It really works perfectly. In fact if you have not activated your Site Speed you can go to your Site Manager Dashboard & do that now. Maybe that will help solve your Site Speed problem.
Also, apart from Google Analytics, I want share with you a Plugin which I have used for sometime now which helps me to see all my traffic in real time.
And lastly I will show you a plugin that you can use to solve all your broken link problems on your website
So let get Started ....
1. A Tool to Help You Check Your Site Speed
You need to keep in mind that you have other competitors and most people today are impatient. So they will not waste their time on your website if the loading speed is too down or slow.
Often times one of things that causes the peed of our website to slow down is the number of banners we may have on our website.
However, having too much plugins on your blog can really affect your site speed. So here is a Site where you can go and check your site speed before installing any Plugin.
If you check and after installing a particular Plugin you realize that your site speed has slow down then the Plugin you installed wouldn't help your site, you need to uninstall it.
The Tool You can Use is called tools.pingdom.com.
It's actually a website for FREE where you can check your site speed before and after installing a Plugin to help you see whether the Plugin will slow down your site or not.
2. A Tool To Help You Monitor Your Site Traffic in Real Time
Yes, I know Google Analytics is there and even Google Webmaster Tool. However, this Plugin works wonders. It actually gives not just Traffic Analysis, but Real Time Traffic & the source of your Traffic plus the countries your visitors are coming from.
I'm talking about "Wordfence" Plugin.
You can monitor when someone visits your website, and what they are actually doing. Whether given you a comment or not, you will be able to see with the help of this Plugin.
Also, one thing I like about its is the fact that you're alerted if a person tried to access a post or click on an Affiliate Link and was not successful. Wordfence will alert you about what has happened.
NOTE: Wordfence uses filters that allows you to switch to Traffic that are only coming from Real humans, so that you're not deceived when Google or Bing Bot Visit your website.
So you will see on the dashboard some features like:
- Human
- Bot
- Warning
- Blocked

3. Using the "Broken Links Checker" Plugin
This Plugin is so wonderful. It really helps a lot. If I did not install it, I wouldn't have known I was having so many of my links broken on my website.
When I say Broken link I mean when a visitor comes to your Site and tries to CLICK on a link only to find out that it is not working, - then he sees Error 404. That is what I mean by Broken links.
You can imagine if a customer tries to click on your Affiliate Link to buy or Sign Up for a product you're promoting on your website only to find out that your Link is Broken - You would have lost a precious sale.
And you wouldn't know about all these unless yo install the Plugin called: Broken Link Checker
It will really be of help to you. I strongly believe this will help you in achieving your success as an Affiliate marketer.

You are right about the importance of site speed. People won't wait if your website doesn't load speedily and that is a loss of a potential sale. You mentioned some really great plugins. A very helpful post indeed.
