This is my 50th Blog post to all you guys at WA, and it is going to my last for a little while.

I wanted to just say how wonderful my first 8 weeks have been, I have been completely inspired by you all and feel I have really found my true calling.

In the eight weeks I have been here I have achieved so much, I have built a website that is getting organic traffic, from both google and Bing/yahoo, getting organic comments. I am building my social media following. After today, I will have 30 blogs on my website many in excess of 3000 words. Which I think is a fantastic achievement, for someone who came to WA with just a dream, a desire and no knowledge of website building or affiliate marketing, and a self-confessed technophobe.

In the first eight weeks I also achieved reaching rank 45 in WA, which I also consider to be an incredible achievement. This was not achieved by me purposefully commenting or posting every day just to get rank, or by me going on some ego crazed mission. I did not fall down any ranking rabbit hole, I did it because I love being part of this WA community. I truly love reading every post, and leaving words of congratulations, or praise, advice, and sometimes even an alternative opinion to what has been posted.

In one of my favourite books Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert, she spends months going on a spiritual journey trying to find herself. Whilst in an Ashram in India she spends weeks meditating and praying and even spends some time in silence. It is however when the ashram asks her to be the welcoming party for new devotees that she find her true calling.

She is given a position called 'Little Suzie Cream Cheese' (Which apparently is a Frank Zappa song). Anyway the position of 'Little Suzie Cream Cheese' was to be welcoming and smile, ensure all devotees got settled in and then just to watch over them, while they go on their own journeys of self discovery.

During my 8 week journey at WA I have discovered that I too love being 'Little Suzie Cream Cheese'. I love welcoming you all with a smile, I enjoy ensuring all of you new guys get settled and I love to watch and read your stories as you go on your own journeys in affiliate marketing. I truly love to give, and pay it forward, because it is in giving that we truly get, and I have got so much from you all. And that is why I have managed to get to number 45 in ranking.

During my eight weeks of self discovery, I have realised that my website just doesn't fulfill my purpose here. My goal was to not trade time and energy for money and be able to follow my souls desire. I have found that my website is work, it is not inspiring, but it is a good business, it has so much potential, but it is (for a while) going to need to have time, and energy, and new knowledge applied to it. Sometimes we have to see the long game, we have to do the climb, before we can stop and enjoy the view!

I am willing to do this because it is the right head decision. So for the next 4 months I am going to dedicate my time to really learning this business. Reading books, doing the training here and building this 'business' website. Use my business head to analyse the numbers, learn all the ways I can boost traffic, get rankings. For the short term life has dictated that it has to be about the money, and so i will go in search of how to affiliate to make money.

This will then give me the freedom to build something new where I can write for love, desire and inject my soul and release it to the universe, because for me it is not about making money or status in the long term.

What blogging here in WA has taught me is the kind of writer and person I want to be. Gaining rank 45 in WA has made me realise that this life (for me) is not all about being number 1 rank on google or being the very best affiliate marketer, or having the top website. It is about heart and soul, and community and love. I love to write, I don't write for ranking, I write because I love it. I love to share what I have learned in this life, I love to connect with people.

I am therefore willing to spend sometime doing the head work, so that I can eventually come back and do the heart and soul work. To be able to write how I have here at WA.

A very wise person (@Twack) introduced me to a quote,

'A Dream written down becomes a goal. A Goal broken down into steps becomes a plan. A plan backed by action makes your dream come true.' - Greg Reid

My Dream,

I desire to be free, free of judgment (from others and myself), I want to be free from the money trap, and the need for 'things'. I wish to be free to travel and experience as many places on this planet as I can. I wish to meet and connect with as many people on this planet as I can and I wish to write about it. I then want to teach my children (and others) how to find their own dream and truly live it. I desire to love, and to care, to laugh and to help. I dream to be Little Suzie Cream Cheese!

My Goal

To make my Niche website really successful, so that I can start my new passion project website. Which will then allow me to live my dream.

The Steps

  1. Dedicate all spare time to learn, watch, read and gain knowledge
  2. Write every day to my Niche website for 4 months with the aim to having 100 articles published (do the head/business)
  3. To start my passion/freedom project and share what I have learned and my life wisdom with the world (and you guys here at WA)
  4. Write from my heart and love it.
  5. Live my dream

Backing it with Action

So off I go, on my way of really learning this 'business' and starting the hard 'head' work of building my Niche website.

I wish you all the best and if I can leave you with one piece of advice,(well maybe two).

Firstly, your path and goal will not be that of another, may not be right for someone else. Follow your own path, but respect others right to follow their own. Sometimes part of their journey and learning, is to fail, to do it all wrong, and that is where the greatest discoveries and magic happen.

Follow your own dream, write it down and then back it by action, and don't quit three feet from the gold.

I'm off to go Mining : )

Much Love

Sara
