Starting to get upset.commenting in the community not working as well as it should.
This is mostly just to vent quickly, but I am starting to find it really frustrating when other members don't follow the guidelines of asking for comments by also giving comments.
More and more often now I find my comment section on my site lacking return comments from other members that I have commented on or that post to commenting posts after me.
Don;t get me wrong, there are wonderful members here who always return the favor, but somehow there seems to be more and more members who don't. I just find this confusing, because I assume they want to receive comments as well, and how can they expect comments when they don;t give them themselves.
I am hopeful however, that the new commenting system here will provide better opportunities to network with wonderful members that appreciate and value the importance of quality comments.
Sorry for the venting. I just had to get out my frustration. I am thankful for all those who have been so wonderful here and hope to connect with more of you guys.

Sarah, the old system did not work and many have experienced this. Use the new one, it is far batter.
I use the new comment feature and it works fine. I think we should all by now forget about all other comment threads and use only the new one created by Kyle and Carson to make our life easier.
Sarah, are you talking about the give and take comment thread? The idea is pay it forward system.
The idea is, you will leave three comments and then leave your link to receive comments. If someone you comment for chooses to return a comment back to you, that will be great, but it is not required.

Yes I am talking about one of those threads. It is not so much the commenting back, but the fact that people don't leave three comments sometimes. Like yesterday I left a link and commented on the next three posts. The people directly asking for comments after me did not leave three comments. It is the fact that some leave out step one.
I am also not trying to sound mean, it just gets frustrating at times. :)

It comes naturally and if you expect comments the will come. Just little by little. You can also participate in "2 credit for 1 comment". That works too. Wish all the best of luck within WA and your success.

Take a deep breath, and exhale. You are not the lone ranger when it comes to having to wait for return comment. They might not be as timely as you would like but they do come. If it vital that you need a review at once, try asking in live chat maybe.

I hear you Sarah, I know it can be frustrating. I like others need to be out in the community more and do more commenting to others. Yes we are all looking for comments to help us.
I hope others will read this and start making things happen here at WA. Let's all make it a point to comment on at least 1 post a day

That is fine you can vent .... If you don't no one will know how you feel about what it is that bothers you .... and for me I find this is one of the best communities that i have found on the net by far ... to get help on what ever you are trying to do .... I understand you. Sometimes we get too busy doing lessons, working on our sites and/or blogs. I know this is no excuse. What I'm trying to say is that the faithful ones get busy and then forget.
