The feeling after completing an blog post
I have joined second month of my premium membership and i have thoroughly enjoyed my experience so far.
I have been able to submit 21 blog posts so far and the contrasting emotions i feel before starting and after finishing an blog post is just surprising. I kind of feel the release of serotonin in my brain, the happy hormone when i finish my article , the feeling of satisfaction of completing something, bliss. hehe
I have been seeing steady increase in traffic and hopefully it will keep on increasing, although getting ranked on top pages is still a challenge.
I have experienced that i do well when i don't look at google analytics and webmaster tools on a daily basis, maybe once in a month or once in 2 weeks is alright. I think currently i should focus on producing quality content and sharing on social media and let other things take care of themselves at least for a few months.
Is it necessary to check google analytics on a daily basis ? What is your routine in this regard ?
how do you feel when you submit your posts ?

Yes...There is a fulfillment of purpose and completion.
Submitting a post is like bearing fruit. A ripened piece of your creativity becomes tangible. It has been produced for the world to eat and enjoy.
The good thing is that this fruit never spoils and it feeds many for years to come.
I feel great but have some reservations on the quality but the reservations do not outweigh the accomplishiment. J
I check every morning. It seems the only time I get high hits is if I push a new blog post on Facebook, but still not getting the hits I would like. My sites are only a month old so I got to be patient.
At the moment my posts have far too many words and they are taking far too long so I need to drastically reduce them. I am finding that once completed that I feel relief rather than elated due to this.
Some are turning out 2-3 posts a day and I have managed 8 in 5 weeks even though the total number of words are in the region of 20k. If I managed this better then that 8 could be 16 posts.
As for checking rankings, I think it best to just leave well alone until that day when you receive that message that tells you that you have made a sale.
I have to find an alternative way of doing this.
I check mine twice a week on google analytics. Both the webmaster sites only once a week. And I’m good with the results. I also. Renew my site map at least twice to three times a mth because I am always updating my four sites. And that seems to help. The one thing I check everyday is my affiliate programs . Because there you can also see traffic when someone is buying or just looking. You can see clicks and you can see what items are really populated over the others.!! So then I can link something to one of my more populated posts to pull people to others that are not so populated . And. So on... So everyone seems to have their own way they do things so I would say do what makes you feel good. The end results are in your hand alone. . Have a good day and good luck..
