Interlinking With Your Contents Images
This is a follow up to a question I had posted about having links in images that you use in posts that are simply there for style and creating interest on your pages or posts content.
Since I have learned that it is best to have links within your images for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) purposes I will share what I have decided to do with mine.
1. I intentionally add a link to an image because it is a call to action. That's a given.
2. I have chose not to use the link that leads to the image itself. If the image is there simply for adding interest to my content, I have decided to link that image to another page or post within my website creating interlinks.
Since my images are strategically placed and are relevant to the topic I am discussing in my post, I will add a link to another page or post that is related. That way if my reader notices the link in the image and is interested they can click the image and it will take them to that content.
I have it open in a new tab as not to take them away from the content they were reading. But all in all it will lead them right back to where i was taking them to begin with. Funnel them to your call to action. That's called business!!!
Bonus for them. Along the way through the funnel they are learning and gaining trust in you.
Cheers,
Randy

Hi, Randy! Great post. I think we're conditioned to click on images. When I do and it's not linked I'm a little disappointed!
Hello Randy. I like your strategy. I am trying to interlink some of my pages as well but I had not thought about using images to do it. Blessings!
