Lately I've been thinking a lot (and by 'a lot' I actually mean 'A LOT') about dumping my actual website and go on for a new one. First, let me explain to you the situation. I
Hi Alex, I don't think you need to start a new site. You know that things change over time and also in blogs. Maybe you need to rethink what you want to share or communicate to your audience. If you like Calisthenics, focus on that topic and everything. Some idea:
create a video training session on your YT channel and use the site to drive traffic to it, use the site to promote your YT training program.
Use the blog to explain the single training session, the effects it produces over the long term, which muscles you will strengthen or something.
Also from the site, you can sell some fitness-related products such as accessories, tracksuits, sweatshirts, T-shirts maybe with your logo (go to Fiverr and you can find a graphic designer to design it for you) to become a brand.
I hope it was helpful!
I wish you the best

Some good answers here. I'd be inclined to stick with the passion of your first site. You can always develop a second one later.
Alex-Rubio, if you love Calisthenics than you should stick with it, but instead of trying to make it about "working out" why not make it more like a motivational website where you offer encouragement for others who may be stressing about the rigors of the workouts?
Also, health blogs do well, you could post some content for eating to strengthen muscles, stretches to help limber the muscles before beginning the workout, recommended vitamins, smoothie recipes etc.
I could literally think of a hundred articles that would be related to a "workout" niche, that may not be about the same niche, yet that compliments it well :)
My niche is about something most people would never dream of, it's a niche that family has mocked me for years for loving, it is my passion. It is not a popular niche, it is not even a profitable niche.
But it is my passion, so I have taken it, and am spending more time on those things that compliment my niche in a way that is proving to be successful for me as for how I determine my own success.
You can of course start a new website, but what will you do when writers block hits you with it too?
Also, just because people search for your niche on youtube, does not mean they are not using google too! They are out there, maybe using different words than Calisthenics, but if you focus on other words (like exercise etc.) you could introduce others to this workout routine.
Thank you very much for your answer, I really appreciate your help! And I will consider it.
Alex-Rubio, I did a quick search for your niche and compared it to my niche, just because I was curious.
Sometimes niches that are not well known by many, are the BEST niches to focus on because it gives us a tremendous edge to introduce something exciting and new to people who have never heard of such.
Your niche is 4 times more popular than mine, so I do think that with a bit of a twist, it can take you far!
I'm very thankful for being part in this community of people, thank you very much again for the inspiration, I will not change the niche and I will put in practice your advice! :)
just a practical question, you work out with Calisthenics every day? If you do why can't you get someone to video you on a smart phone? You can make your own YouTube channel
I'm not trying to influence your decision but it seems to me it's something you're absolutely passionate about and love and do every day and it would be such a shame not to make your niche
I love it, but as I said, I also love those things that I mentioned there equally. And I feel much more comfortable writing about those topics. I use to write motivational stuff anyway and people are super appreciating them (I'm not saying this to make a show off, I'm saying this so you can understand that I am good at it).
I feel like I have a lot, a lot of ideas related to motivational stuff about career, because at some point of my life I'd lost my way and it was super hard to get back on track. So I'll think about it and I will make a decision after that.
can you find a way of creatively combining the two. As long as you are passionate about something it doesn't really matter. It's not unusual to change a niche. My first niche was a recipe site before Internet was monetised and there was no way of making money. I built that nearly 5 years before I realised it was going nowhere
please keep us informed make a post about what you decide to do I am fascinated watching you progress
I will do that for sure! I love your energy haha!! Thank you for being such an inspiration. I'm struggling because that's the road to success, ups and downs. I've just written a post about feeling lost because it had happened to me so I wanna help others who might encounter the same feeling.
One thing. I am obsessed with success and I could never give up on the thought of becoming a successful person. That's the only thing that I know right now.

That's a super great idea, Jeff! Thank you very much, I'll put it in words! :)
No matter what, it'll be another relevant post in your niche!
