What is the significance of referral credits in cash?
You can request the cash when it has reached 20 credits, or use them to buy a domain or ask for comments and feedback.:)

What is the significance of referral credits in cash?
Just cash them or use them within WA.
I do this all the time and saves having to spend my own money.

Recently I have invited my friend to join WA program,since iam not a premium member credits did not add to my account, I am planning to become a premium member soon,if so would
Thank you for your reply!! I see my Friend in referral link,since I'm a starter member credits are not added,if I upgrade to premium will the credits be added to my account?
No, because you were not premium at the time they set up their profile... now if they upgrade, you'll be paid the amount based on your user level at the time they become premium.... so make sure you become premium before they do.
1) Starter members can get referral credits, they just get /12 as much.
2) Depending on when you/they upgrade will determine the amount of credit you receive.
3) If they did their account set-up while you were a starter member, I don't believe you get the $1 credits - only premium members receive that, and it is not retroactive.
If you go to the $ sign icon and click 'My Referrals' - you should see your friend there, if you don't, then they did not join through your referral link.

Click the $ symbol on the right-hand top menu, then 'Links & Tracking'. (see attached image)
Just copy one of the 2 links: 'main link' or 'create account'.
Then paste it into the email or the message you're sending to your friend.
