I wrote yesterday morning about my concerns with my current website. I have spend the rest of the day and half the night seriously researching my options.

I do get some traffic, but this is mainly because I really spam social media.

I googled as no-one really could answer my question about having duplicate content and it seems that if I delete the old posts that have a lot of duplicate content as I go, then all will be OK. I will not bring all across as some were rubbish. This way if I keep the site active, then anything that comes from old social media posts will not be a total waste.

I will be taking Littlemama's advice and get some affiliate review pages up and running first off the block of WA and Jaaxy, then start moving posts over (after rewriting and bringing the intent closer to my niche theme.

I have spent this morning doing a banner that is heaps better than the one on my current website.

I have settled on a niche - building an online business while travelling. My audience is people who want a laptop lifestlye, want to give up the 9-5 and build an online business, and learn to promote their business. I know that this is a broad audience, but I will concentrate on posting a number of articles on the business building side and how I travel to achieve a desired goal. Then move onto another topic within the niche.

I don't wish to do review after review, so maybe I won't make Vegas but if I can earn enough money to pay my own way then I will still achieve this goal. I have always wanted to visit Vegas.

This is what I am doing, but instead of telling people how I am trying to do it and crossing my fingers - I will fake it till I make it and present myself as having one. (I do have an offline person to person sales business and an online e-commerce business attached, and have a brand name that I have just introduced and have set up a website for that). I am in business, I do travel, I have made some affiliate sales - so not a lie. I will not state income levels that I do not earn.

Plus I will have this new blog.

I am busy, but have decided that I am prepared to put in the hours needed to prepare content so will have to sacrifice the time I spend here playing social. I will have to set up new social media profiles and will use my current ones to also promote my new blog so that it looks different to what I have already done. I will start afresh with all the knowlege I have gained over the last 2 years and make it better.

Hopefully, my new social media will grow quickly and I will be able to blog about this as the means to promote my online business. I will also better target my audience which I have not done previously.

My Titles need reworking, as does my keyword research and headings, my Meta Description needs reworking, my images and my actual content and structure. I figure it will probably take longer to update than to just start from scratch.

I am trying for a new domain name but they all seem so long and I don't want to muck up my meta title too much. Which do you like?
