Recently "Facebook" has been accused of becoming an evil "Psysyops" that has allowed "data breaches" to compromise our personal data and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is to appear before Congress plus the United Kingdom has requested that Mark Zuckerberg attend their Parliament to give testimonial. Since accusations surfaced on March 16, 2018, Facebook stock has since fallen 18% and is now 80 billion dollars less valuable. Mark personally lost 14 of his 61 billion dollars.

Facebook is not alone. Twitter fell 20% and Google fell 7% over concerns that companies are not looking after our personal data and utilizing it in various ways to profit. There is a growing lack of transparency, ability to protect personal data and trust between individuals and centralized companies that control data.

One of the main reasons for the success of Bitcoin is that it is based on Blockchain technology which through decentralization, transparent and cryptography proof can created trust between individuals, politicians, companies and institutions.

All organization and individuals need to take a closer look at Blockchain technology and its attempt to recreate trust. Bitcoin, the first application to utilize the Blockchain, is totally disrupting the present financial systems. Governments, education, health and businesses are now actively involved in understanding how this new technology will affect their sector.

How can? How will? How fast? the Blockchain affect affiliate marketing and WA??? Trust is one of our issues.

I recommend individuals read "The Truth Machine - The Blockchain And The Future Of Everything" by Casey & Vigna Feb, 2018.

Thanks for the recommendation!

You are welcome! Please let me know if you read the book.

Hi, Roger.
Paul Mindra here from Ontario, Canada.

Keep up the great work.
Do not expect too many to even understand what you are talking about at this time.

Keep forward on the learning, and teach as many as you can.

What you and I see are probably only going to be realized after we are no longer here.

I trust that you are well. I am still having some issues with the biologic medications.

Overall, all is good though. Sorry I have not been in more timely contact.

Do not worry about the drop from 20K to 8K for Bitcoin. It is all a part of the process.

Nice to hear from you again.

Kindest regards,

Paul.

Great to hear from you!

I remain convinced that by 2020 there will be a massive redistribution of wealth to commodities from food product to minerals; cryptocurrencies; and blockchain disruptive influences. If not I will be liquidating and finding a country where one can make a good return from investing in real estate.

Mind you if I find sanity in the political world and what I am passionate about I may continue doing what I am presently doing. Passion and anticipation of a better future will keep me going for a long time.

Sounds like a plan, Roger.
Happy Easter.

Kindest regards,
Paul.

Enjoy your Easter Sunday! I am busy here in cold, sunny Edmonton reading positive comments on WA while listening to old time gospel music on YouTube.

Thanks for sharing, Roger. I need to know more about this, Best Alan

I try to keep an open, receptive mind, involve myself in physical meet up groups and work on my website. "The Truth Machine - The Blockchain and the Future of Everything" should be in libraries soon. I bought mine, but also sent a recommendation to our local library to acquire some copies.

sad facts of our new technology-based reality

If the new technology re-creates trust between participants without the use of third party middlemen with centralized control, then the results are well worth the effort to learn how to utilize the new technology. One can also view the "sad facts" as "positive facts" that will enhance trust, privacy and personal freedom..

but it's not and as a number of leading business leaders have pointed out it's been hijacked by the big 4

Hey, just found out yesterday that someone in Russia has been trying to hack me for a week. They were trying to get the information they wanted as I was working on WA. Did not get info.

Wow! How were you able to find this out? I may have my head in the sand, because I belief I am small fish and not worth the effort when they are all these large centralized companies, institutions, organizations, and high net worth individuals which have single points of entry and are much juicer targets.

Hey, I discovered this through the security of my computer!

Thanks. I will be keeping a closer look out. Trouble half the message from Microsoft are not from microsoft. Here in Canada I get messages from banks that my account will be closed if I don't take immediate action. Trouble I I have never had an account with that bank. I no longer respond to emails regarding income tax or GST as half the time they are scams. Suppose I will end up with challenges in the future.because I can't tell the fake from the truth.

WA seems to be one of the few places that one can believe what they read.

Great post, thanks for sharing.

It looks like it will take FB a certain amount of time to be clean again.

As an affiliate, we can't rely on just one or two ways to promote our products, we really need to expand our knowledge and skills.

I agree with you Blockchain is very promising, however, I'm more skeptic about Cryptocurrencies. I don't think countries will agree to use it widely.

For the moment all cryptocurrencies kept falling, Bitcoin has lost more than 50% since 2018, let's see what will happen next.

I'm more excited about how they will use Blockchains.

You are right. Government and individuals with power want to keep it the way it is, but there are a lot of individuals, especially in poorer countries, who have little to lose and see cryptos as their solution to a better financial life.

Rebellions and revolutions become common when people lose freedom and power, and have nothing to lose.

Facebook facebook facebook......blah blah blah. It's going to bite a few asses at some point!

Look after your personal data! Someone is watching us, they just haven't decided to hit yet!

Once you're online, there's no such thing as privacy.

there's no such thing as privacy ANYWHERE anymore you are always on camera and being watched ... not that I'm paranoid or anything :)

No, you're not paranoid, it's reality, Lol.

But camera everywhere is not disturbing for me, I mean I'm not an interesting guy to watch, so I don't really care.

It's like hacking, peoples fear been hacked, but what is the reason a hacker would hack you if there are zero benefits for them. Becoming a good hacker is not easy.

In China, in each city, there are cameras EVERYWHERE, what peoples don't know, China is probably one of the safest countries in the world.

A girl can go out at 3 am, walking in the street or going to buy something in a grocery, nobody would want to cause a problem to her. One of the reasons I think it's because of the presence of the cameras.

You ask me to do so in Paris, I won't risk it, I prefer to stay at home. Cities like Paris has become very insecure at night. You don't want to wander at night alone, even with friends you would hesitate.

You're right there is no privacy anywhere anymore, the only way you can protect yourself is to be careful about what you're saying and don't give too many details on yourself.

Lol!

I understand and it's a discussion we have in America a lot - loss of personal freedom and anonymity for safety (maybe increased and maybe not).

I'm pretty boring too but I don't really like being on camera wherever I go even though it's a fact of our existence. And, I do realize the positive benefits of the visual record when something happens and finding (knowing) the truth is important.

It may have something to do with the way and when I grew up and the changes technology has brought (maybe wrought) on us all. It truly was a different time. No Internet and no cameras almost anywhere but maybe in banks.

I agree with you about hacking. People have been far too trusting with their online personal information. Some are learning that with the recent Facebook revelations. Others will continue to think it's a good idea to live transparently on the grid. They are not thinking there are people trying to exploit and use that vulnerability for their own personal gain.

This is a question we will all debate for many years trying to come as we try to find the correct balance.

That is one reason I am interested in "Pillar" which is working on developing Pillars in which individuals can keep all their information etc. securely and release it as they see fit. I have not purchased any of this .33 cent crypto, but am following their progress.

I do believe the Blockchain has the capability of developing into a technology that can provide us with trust that we are not being scammed.

In rural areas and the isolate area of Canada/Alaska you can still be very much off the grid, although satellites might be still watching you there.

satellites and drones. don't forget the drones

I don't know enough about it to offer an opinion

I had to leave before and didn't finish my thoughts. There is a growing call for some way to deal with (breakup maybe) the big four: Apple, Google, Facebook, and Amazon. Vint Cerf, known as father of the Internet, spoke of this about three weeks ago pointing out that a few large companies dominating the Internet was not the intention.

So, I am skeptical that the sad facts which you termed possibly "positive facts" will enhance trust, privacy and personal freedom. That is just not the history.

Am concerned about the ripple effect over all of SM!

I would like to see social media become more decentralized and controlled through consensus of the participants, rather than the individuals whose main goal is to make millions for themselves, their friends and the investors.

Thanks for sharing.
