Some Lessons Learnt By A 'Senior Citizen' It sounds so much better than 'an old man'!
We can never stop learning. If you think you know it all -that's what you are – a boring 'know-it-all'!
Everyone has been hurt at sometime in their life. They may or may not realise it because sometimes the pain is pushed down deep and they are hoping that it doesn't come to the surface. “Sometimes the strongest among us are the ones who smile through silent pain, cry behind closed doors, and fight battles nobody knows about” Anon
Everyone needs encouragement, mostly for the reason already stated above. Even a smile can be so welcome and hugs? One size fits all!
People should always be treated with respect no matter who or what they are, or their circumstances.
Things may not work out the way you hoped or expected, but don't give up hope.
You will encounter problems along your way, but that's how you grow. Someone once said: “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.” Winston Churchill said: “When you're going through hell – keep going!”
Never, never give up! (I think Churchill probably said that too!) You might like to
remember that stars always shine brightest in the dark and YOU ARE A STAR.
Don’t try to be like somebody else. “Be yourself because an original is worth more
than a copy.”
Grab the moment! Someone said: Life is short. If there was ever a moment to
follow your passion and do something that matters to you, that moment is now.
People want to help you. Just let them because in helping and encouraging others,
we are helped and encouraged ourselves. WA is proof of that

These basic posts are great to read because it brings people down to earth,it lets them know others think about them and also we are all in the same boat.I read somewhere do not judge others or belittle them because you don,t know what kind of trials and tribulations they have had in their lives.
