Do You Publish Content Consistently

Hi Folks

Without checking can you say when you published a new article last?

When do you think you will publish another article? Will it be today, tomorrow, maybe next week.

One article every now and again won’t do much good. Sure, you may get to the third or even second page of Google. But that’s not really where you want to be, is it? You want to be on the first page and pretty near or at the top of the list.

Google loves fresh content regularly. Your readers (potential customers) will also expect to find regular updated content.

What can you do about it?

Create A Publishing Schedule

Create a publishing schedule and stick to it. Yes, it really is that simple.

Sure, three or four articles per week might seem like overkill. And, if you’re not in a highly competitive Niche, it is. You may get by with fewer posts.

But one thing is clear. Don’t overburden yourself and bite off more than you can chew. Even one article per week is enough if that’s all that you can handle without compromising quality.

Finally, you can always outsource writing in order to make sure your publishing schedule is kept.

Ok folks there you have it. Now who among you who are reading this can say they have a publishing schedule and can keep to it? I'm willing to wager not very many.

You will know yourself what your personal circumstances allow regarding the time you can spend on building your home business. However you have to admit having a publishing schedule you can keep to makes a good deal of sense. Consistency is the key to keep your visitors coming back for more.

Onwards and upwards folks. Have a great week and be successful.

Robert Allan

Thanks for this blog post, Robert! Much appreciated! I make sure I post an article per day and have started seeing some results now. My site has been more active than ever now. I share each of the posts published on social media daily while engaging the visitors!

Israel Olatunji

Hello Israel, thank you for reading.
One per day is great but can you keep it up, that is the question.
great if you can and posting an excerpt of your article on the various social media platforms wont do you any harm either.
Onwards and upwards and enjoy your Monday.
Robert

I, also, am now inspired to make myself a content schedule & stick to it!! Content is king & Consistency is the key!! Both equally important!! Thank you for the motivation Robert!!

I starred your article Robert. I feel inspired and encouraged to do the right thing. I keep trying shortcuts, all the while knowing that regular communication with your readers is most important. Nice job Robert! You would have won the wager with me (not having a publishing schedule), but your article did what you intended ...inspire your readers to publish regularly.

Hi Robin and thank you for reading.
Glad you are now inspired to do better.
Consistency really is the key and it doesn't have to be every day but try a couple a week to begin with.
Also remember quality counts.
Enjoy your Monday over there in New Hampshire.
Robert

I have a schedule Robert and I'm on target
1 post per day keeps me moving forward all the way :)
You rock
Thank you

Robert

Thank you Robert :)

No probs Vicki.
Now its time I was off uptown.
Busy Monday for me.
Robert

That made it all painfully obvious & painful to read, as I like many, I would imagine, have no schedule in place & fall wayfully short of what is required.
Thanks for the post. Great read.

Cheers, Duncan.

No probs Duncan but you must try harder and be more consistent.
Enjoy your day and the week ahead.
Robert

Hi Robert, yes consistency is important and I try for at least two per week. If I manage more that is a bonus but I do have a schedule. Thank you for sharing your own thoughts on this:)
Cass

Hello Cassandra
Hope you found the blog of interest and yes you should have a schedule.
Two articles a wek is good enough if they are of quality content.
That's all I've been publishing for the past month and I haven't seen any drop in my ranking in the SERPs.
Enjoy your Sunday and the week to come.
Robert

Thank you Robert Yes it was helpful. I have plans to post every second day eventually but have just created a second website so will be adjusting my schedule:)
Cass

Don't bite off more than you can chew though,
It does take a lot to keep multiple site going on a regular basis.
Enjoy your Monday.
Robert

Thanks Robert cheers Cass :)

You are most welcome.
Take Care.
Robert
