Keyword Density Strategy For SEO
Keyword Density Strategy To Improve Your Rank
Hi Folks
Competition is hard between websites, and their posts/pages, and what makes one more successful than another is the position a site gets on search engines? The higher the ranking the bigger the traffic volume to the site. To achieve a higher position websites use the strategy of SEO and content is written in such a way that its rich in keywords.
What does Rich In Keywords Actually Mean?
Its not as simple as using words over and over again. You need to know which keywords are relevant to your website and pages. You can use a keyword density checker. A checker will search through your web content and highlight words used in higher density. The results should give you a good idea what you need to do to enable you to perfect your pages and provide what search engines spiders want.
A Keyword Density Checker can be used to crawl individual URLs, analyze word density, and remove common stop words. You can even add a Keyword Checker to your website to fulfill this vital task for your site On-Page SEO.
It is all about knowing how to gather your audience or customers and the keyword density checker can help you do this without you making mistakes.
The basic rule of thumb is to know what keywords people are using as search terms.
Keywords must be relevant to your line of business.
The trick is to strike a balance with not too many and not too few. Too many can get your site banned for keyword stuffing, and too little will mean a lower ranking. So, stick to your market plan but make your content meaningful and relevant, find out the most important words that will be used by people to find what your site has to offer. I've said it before but will do so again - What would your search term be for the product you're promoting?
To Finish
4 Points That Will Keep You Ontrack;
- Match keyword tag with content. Ensure that the keyword meta tag has around 900 characters or 25 words.
- Keep your keyword density between 1.5-3% for best results. Avoid using the same word more than once in a sentence. Use a keyword validator to find out what your keyword density is.
- Try and maximize use above the fold. Many search engines only crawl about 25-50% of post content.
- Spell your keywords with variations and include plurals.
The golden rules of SEO are:
- Keyword Density
- Keyword Frequency
- Keyword Prominence
- Keyword Proximity.
There you have it folks. Now go and run a check on your own sites keyword density. You might be surprised.
Have a great day and be successful.

A brilliant post, Robert. One daft question...isn't keyword density the same as keyword frequency?
James
Hello James and thank you for reading the blog and for your question.
From a mathematical viewpoint, the original concept of keyword density refers to the frequency of appearance of a keyword in a dissertation.
Hope this reply will suffice coz I don't know any other way to explain it LOL.

So you moved away from the sun.
It pretty cold here in Scotland as well.

Wrap up and stay inside.
