Fantastic Tool For Analysing Your Website
Hello Folks
I wrote about spiders and what they do in my previous blog.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/robert-a/blog/how-to-build-a-website-spiders-what-they-do
Once you have the page(s) of your site designed it’s a good idea if you can see what the search engines will see once you publish. It would be pretty cool if you could see what the spiders see would it not and to that end you can actually use a search engine simulator tool to evaluate your pages?
Link: www.webconfs.com/search-engine-spider-simulator.php.
There’s a code within the above page you can copy/paste so please add this tool to your website and use it on a regular basis. Then you will have a report to act on when or if you need to make any changes.
The search engine spider simulator will also help you determine whether hyperlinks in your pages are "Real." Experts recommend using tags instead of java script based menus. Try and limit hyperlinks to less than 100 and check that they do not lead to 403 Forbidden or 404 Page Not Found pages. Spiders do not deal with such errors and your pages will not get indexed.
Once you access the simulator site you will find an abundance of other tools to the left of the screen and I suggest you try some of them out because they are sooper dooper cool.
You can also access the article - See Your Site With the Eyes of a Spider from the site as well.
There you go folks and I hope you will use this tool every time you create new content for your site.
I think this has got to be one of the best or dare I say thee best ‘Point In The Right Direction’ I’ve given my fellow WA members so far and therefore feel free to leave lots of comments and ‘Likes’ below.
Have a nice day.

You just caught me before I go Katie.
I don't believe there is a specific position for the code.
I haven't put it on my own sites yet but I was thinking a Widget in my Footer would be best and maybe even have it as a 'NoShow'.
After all its just for we site owners.
Whatever you think is best Katie.
Might I suggest always kept as the last thing on your Sidebar.
Now I'm going to head for a hot bath so maybe catch you tomorrow.

Robert thank you very much for your awesome and important tool! I appreciate it very much. You are so very helpful to all here at WA.
This will really help my new website that will be coming soon. I am just doing what they say fine tuning it a bit.
I am a bit of a perfectionist, but trying not to go there.
Have a very nice evening and again stay warm!
Linda
I did say it was a great tool Lind so glad you came back and are going to give it a whirl.
You have a nice day and yes I have my heater on so warm enough just now.

I was checing out the tools. I was intrigued by the "ineedhits" 1000 visits in a month for $7.99.. Has anyone here ever used this service?
I used it once last year and I did get the visits but couldn't help but think they were 'Robots'.
Maybe I was wrong so if you want to give it a go then by all means do so and if it doesn't pan out you've only lost 8 bucks.
Robert
No probs and there's lots of them to try out so at least you will have a choice as well as that Simulator.
Thank you for the comment.
Robert
I have used several and the seem to have different reports so I will see what they say and go from there.
Marty
Thats the way to do it Marty.
Use whats best for you because everyone will be different with varying results.
