Just a few little bumps, but its done, site moved
Today I have accomplished stuff/tasks I never thought possible, embedded hyperlink codes into photos, migrated my draft site to its new home, and answered my first question to a fellow member in chat, caststonepro.com is done and teaming up with its brother caststonehq.com This wasn't my original plan, but as I have learned here these last 5 weeks I believe it's the right direction, and if the Jaxy searches are right, which I have no reason to doubt, then the numbers are really good. Just the blackout issue in sidebar comments on caststonehq.com to figure out and cure then it is time for some affiliate links to be thought about and placed on the sites. Another learning curve for sure.
I am now glad that I made a mistake at the beginning when I thought I had first secured a domain because I like the new one better and some of my peers have already texted and told me it is so suitable.
I think it's now time for me to talk directly with many of the affiliate names that come up in my niche, I have a suspicion, as they know I am retired, that they will be biting my hand off to sell for them, some I used to spend thousands of $ with and others wished I wasn't in the game and me being their competition. Has anybody else experienced this type of situation before?
Am I approaching the affiliate potential in the wrong way?
I would love some input.
Time finally for a wine

Hey, if it works for you, sell yourself as an affiliate to the competition! Best wishes.
Karin
Hi Karin,
Well that is the one I was building after my learning curve grew, so thank you for that comment

The best one is that I spent hours trying to embed a profile picture in the header panel, I just can't get it in the right place, but I will soon Haha
I wish you the very best on that. I am not very good at figuring that kind of stuff out! But it does look good.
Karin
Hi Karin,
They are not my competition any more, I retired! I thought I was too old to use all the knowledge of my prior business, but now I am enjoying it again from a new perspective.

I don’t believe that there’s a right or wrong way in learning and doing this “stuff “ here at WA. I’m retired also, and I amaze myself in what I am doing here! After 25 years in banking and 12 more as a State Farm Agent and then disability retirement , what I learn here at WA is amazing and I love it 😎
God bless

Great job!
Did you adjust any color settings while customizing?
It appears that the blackened section is the admin reply only.
That may be a meta color.
Hope that helps you to figure this out!

Hey Rud , I did and extended the excerpt, It was the only way I got it to show a little, I thought that was better than nothing until I found a better fix.
Thanks for the help
