A lot of time and effort
I'm now 2 weeks on WA and I've just finished Course 2. I've set up my website with 4 pages and 2 blogs, but I feel I still have a long way to go. My goal is to be able to make money from the site in 2-3 months, but I wonder if this is attainable. I've just been trying my best to make my site as engaging as possible, but it's been taking a lot of my time and effort. I feel I need to do this full-time to be successful but right now, I haven't even started to promote any products on my website! I'm still doing my job and I can only be part-time here at best. My goal of joining WA is to be able to earn a consistent and sufficient income so that I don't have to do a regular job. I wonder if this is possible for me and if so, how long will it take for me to get there. Though 'part-time' I find myself spending at least 4-5 hours everyday trying to learn and do whatever I can and what I'm supposed to do here on WA. Some days I even have to spend like 6-7 hours. It's pretty close to a regular job. There's so much to learn and so much to do. I wish there's shortcut to success but there isn't...

Hi Rita, just checking out your post. Here is a little food for thought that may help.
Over your past year you have been busy working and living your life. As of today that time has past and everything now is but a memory. Over the course of this new year, you have decided to make a difference. You joined WA to create an online business to give yourself the income that you deserve and time you control.
To do this you are actually going to an online school which as time moves on will start to pay you for what you are learning. At the end of one year, instead of being in the place you where 2 weeks ago. You will be operating an online business with a good portion of learning behind you. That learning will never end it just becomes less and easier as you build on top of what you already know.
How much money you will be making, nobody knows. But any amount you are making, now you know how to make it grow.
Thousands of people around the world are doing it "So can We."
I think when you initially get started you really need to put in the hard yards and hours so you can at least get your site off the ground and get it moving and in working order...this takes time and a good amount of fine tuning to make your site a "great" site.
I read somewhere that it takes 200 or so keywords or 200 pages? before you get a steady flow of traffic into your site which will then generate income. This takes time and I am prepared that it might take me a few years.
But in saying that, if you really want to master anything in life and get a good grasp on something such as playing the piano or learning how to draw it will take time...years even.
I don't think this should be seen as a "job", a job is something you have to do. When you do something for the love or passion of it then it doesn't become a job, then money can flow effortlessly...We all battle with this on some level and I will be writing a new post about "Money/work" in my site.
My suggestion to you is to keep on going...think about what you have created in those 2 weeks and be proud of yourself. Keep focused on your goals and don't let that goblin called "doubt" to enter your mind.
You will see a breakthrough soon, I am sure of it :o)

I can say the same thing with me. Working full time and trying to work WA is time consuming. You must stay focused on yourself and set some time goals and just keep going. I have to thank you for the inspiration...All the best!
