GOTTA LOVE THIS STORY

In my favorite spot for morning coffee working on Wealthy Affiliate website, when I encountered a little snag. Pounding the table I exclaimed "stupid "WordPress".

Customer at next table asked what you working on and what's the problem. I explained that I recently took on challenge of affiliate marketing and building a website.

Well, he is a project manager for hosting company in Atlanta and possibly could assist me with website and marketing. I asked for the cost involved:

Plan 1 $1,000.00 which includes building site and teaching me to maintain, hosting for first year and $179.00 yearly going forward.

Plan 2 $2,000 site, plus updating pages, hosting, domain and $100.00 per hour per session to plan SEO and marketing strategies.

I asked & he replied

Do you have Instant support 24/7 with live chat --NO Communicate with owners of company--NO Can you meet like minded entrepreneurs--NO Step by Step training with videos anytime--NO

Before I could continue he asked "what are you paying now" When I explained you could start for free (and set up website), upgrade to premium for $19 first month then $47 per month or save with $359 yearly. At this point he took his coffee and began to walk away---I just couldn't help but ask "AND BY THE WAY DO YOU HAVE AFFILIATE PROGRAM AND OFFER BLACK FRIDAY SPECIALS".

The look on his face was priceless. Then, the lead happens----guy listening to our conversation asked me for information on training program. Thank you Mr. Web Hosting Guy.
