Master Conversions-Forget About Traffic

Members who start marketing online always think they never have enough traffic. Well in many cases it can be true if you just are starting out.

But I hear from tons of Internet Marketers who've been working to build their websites and businesses for years and the word is, I need more traffic. I don't have enough!

I myself probably confessed this to Kyle and others here many times myself. As I thought my problem was traffic. For a very long time.

So I worked at getting more and more traffic only to see that I was still lacking in sales.

Two and one half years later...I gave up. I worked on conversions instead of traffic. A way to better convert all traffic for my website and business was to build a funnel.

Soon after, my bank account started growing. My PayPal account as well. And I even started working less, and earning even more. Why?

Because I finally got it! I finally understood the psychology behind marketing. You need a system. And a way to convert cold traffic to hot traffic. Or paying traffic.

A way that works and converts what traffic we do have, to paying traffic! If you send someone to a page and they bounce, you loose them. But what if you could send them to a page and even though they bounce, you still contact them until they either buy or unsubscribe?

Even if you have a list of subscribers who have signed up to your list and you send them to one page one time, and then do not buy, it does you no good. Some will say you need to be careful and baby them so as not to loose them. But what good are they if they never buy your product? The money is not in the list, it is in the conversions you get from that list.

I have 18,000 subscribers, but if I do not have a great offer or a way to funnel them through steps, and even take them to another offer, and another, and get them to buy, or order, they would do me no good. In fact I pay plenty for having a list this size and it is called overhead. I could not manage this large of a list unless I was making money.

Many top marketers tell you that you need to promote to them every day until they do buy. And build a system that does do this for you, day by day. Without a system you cannot take advantage of what traffic you do have.

Funneling cold visitors to soon become hot leads and prospects, has very little to do with traffic. It has plenty to do though with the way you are talking and interacting within a system, that and having a system in the first place.

A funnel system is easy to create, despite most not thinking so. It is something that you need to first learn, just as you've learned SEO, Writing Skills, Blogging, or anything else here online.

You need to combine free marketing with a funnel system so that people can relate to and even build a relationship with this traffic to help entice and move them to your special page, or pages where they are converted. Either into a buyer or eventually putting them on a list for a different product or offer.

A funnel system is not one page, it is several. And it could be that your funnel is an email sequence that takes a visitor from start to finish over a period of 3, 7, even 30 days! All the time giving them free value and help.

NOTE: Please don't send them to ebooks and material that is not your own. That is a sure fire way to lose them along the path. Make it about you and your product or service, only. Giving them someone else's material use to be a good way to give value. Not any longer. They are already over whelmed with information. Why give them stuff that they cannot really use?

You need to lead them closer to you, not away from you.

People do not know what to do unless you tell them what to do. Then they will click on buttons, links and invoices. Because you have created call to actions for them.

Like the invoice sent out today, the client is a repeat buyer and is because I have sent him value in the past. I've converted this sale like many others because I have a system set up.

Earning income is not about traffic as much as it is a psychological system that moves this traffic to convert. Sure you need some traffic, but you do not need thousands of visitors.

Wealthy Affiliate enables you to learn a great foundation and free marketing. And it leads us to creating a path for our visitors. But many focus on getting more traffic instead of taking advantage fully of the traffic they have.

I'm finding people are putting off building a system as it is thought to be too complex, too much effort and too much expense. But quite the contrary to belief. If you are making sales you can afford to spend money on tools and the time it takes to create that system will be paid for in full and in very short order.

We all do the work first, before we get the payment. Same with any type of marketing. If you have a system that converts, you can spend the money on then making it even more automated and even pay for advertisements that bring in even more targeted traffic.

My advise is to consider creating a funnel type system to move your traffic through the proper steps. A landing page, a follow up responder email sequence, Bonuses, Thank You pages, Free Value, etc...
