People seldom get "It" right.

What is "IT"? Giving Great Value To Others In Exchange For Monetary Gain. That is what It, is. And in Internet Marketing one of the true keys besides giving incredible value, is sales. Without the sales, there would be no Internet.

We are told we can make cash online if we just stop long enough to buy this or that program, join this new offer that just came out, or get this great software. Or follow this one group that is doing so well. Yet the failures are in the tens of millions, and most quit within a few months. Why?

The vast rate of failure is not merely due to skill set. Even though most will tell you that this skill set is a very necessary part of becoming a successful marketer. And that we do need to grow the knowledge and build our skills-- And always be increasing it.

Skill set is learned of course, over time. And it can be very time consuming. Especially if you try to learn on your own. And, it is something not for the faint of heart or the impatient. And also, we only really succeed when we are not just learning regurgitated training passed down for many years before...And washed over many hundreds of times, as it is presented differently each year we see it.

Even so, there are many variables in online success. From skills set to niche. But even more importantly, and something everyone and their mother is talking about today, is Mind Set. Getting someone to understand they suck at thinking...Is something that never comes across well, so people in the industry are having a heck of a time getting others to listen and to learn that they in fact have issues or problems.

It is actually due to most people's mindset and limitations that have been set into place since child birth that constricts online marketing success as a whole. And every other magnificent dream one might have along the way.

We've always heard, NO. You cannot do that. You shouldn't do this. You can't do that. And so the mindset has been pre-conditioned from birth for most all of us who are still on this planet today. Don't feel you have what it takes to be a success and earn 7 figures per year? Than you are of course, thinking negatively.

Yet today, sure enough, hundreds of people get online and suddenly hear a voice boom out--"You can Make $18,000 Dollars This Month. (Click Here!) And they do...

So suddenly, these same people, without thought, expect their lives to change for them instantly. Or over night at least. They expect to suddenly be able to pay off their debt, buy that new Mercedes. They expect to quickly start making money online because every Tom, Dick and Harry is now telling them they can. And that it all works and is super easy.

I myself included have heard this shout. Years ago. The call of the majestic online green backs calling my name. Rick you can now own a Yacht. A brand new Ferrari. Wait, how do you spell Ferrari? If I'm going to be getting one I should at least know how to spell it.

Alas, I had a terribly negative attitude back in 2012 when going through my first year online. Why? Because what I tried did not work, no matter how many people showed me proof of the money they were making. Nothing I was shown how to do earned me anything. And no matter how many said they were successfully marketing this program or that program, or how much they made from commissions that month from Amazon, I had justified my negative attitude because I had proof! They could not show me any money they said they had made!

Luckily I stuck with it for another year! As a few were making a few dollars here and there. But I later found out that the majority of would be marketers did lots of faking their testimonials, faking the money shots, the bank accounts they showed, the substance behind the curtains--Seemed to be all faked. Or in many cases. And even those I talked to said, fake it til you make it!

I began telling everyone that I could see who the marketers were who were making money online. It was salesmen. It was those who could sell ice to an Eskimo. A coffin to people who were not dead yet. An bicycle to a person with no hands or feet. People good with the gift of gab and who wanted to talk people into handing over cold hard cash for anything they were selling. Those types would leave most of us regular Joe's in their wake. Taking our money as well.

But people would always come back to me with a retort such as, you don't have to be a salesman. You don't have to use paid advertising. You don't need lots of time or money. And my reply was always the same. "But it does help if you want to get ahead."

So, what all has to change before anyone makes money online, regardless a salesmen or not? Or should I say most people who are not a top rated and experienced sales man? What is IT?

Their attitude. And it goes back to the mind. Because, there is a natural force at work in the universe, whether God or The Mother Mary, or it be Aliens. That allows for us to have what we desire. In a matter of speaking.

As in the Bible it says,"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
Mathew 7:7

Wrong. Sure that is part of it is mind set, but you have to have all the pieces for things to work out for you. Online marketing also requires a much needed skill-set. Along with belief in yourself that you can master anything you put your mind to. And you have that much needed positive attitude. And money helps.

But the list of skills you need is huge! In fact you could learn full time for 5 years just to realize later afterward that you've only scratched the surface of what is out there on the Internet. And could be learned. Of course by then it will have changed 3 times. Especially in the way of strategies, that work, don't work, will work later, may never work no matter what. ETC. Nothing remains the same no matter who says it is still working today. It isn't.

Yet your buddy comes to you today and says, "Hey, this is working for me. I've made over $22.50 today already!" So you sign up. Gladly ready to make money. And to hear of someone making it. Even if it costs you money, you are ready to go get started.

But he has cleverly left out that he spent $100 on paid advertising, or that it took him 2 months to make that first commission of $22.50. Or that in order to get a sale such as this you have to talk with 10 people.

Some here have shown me their stats and earnings of $1000 per month and then confided in me later that they are spending $1500 per month on ppc. HMMMMM...

In Internet Marketing people tend to say whatever necessary in order to get you to sign up to their program, offer, or free membership. They will work hard to get themselves a member to join under them for their down-line. As in MLM. Or a friend to sign up to a program where it is a one time cost of $1000 dollars. And then only $33 dollars per month. Whatever it takes. AS in the case below...

My buddy recently joined a program (Not going to mention the name), Okay Exitus. Where he suddenly was on Facebook doing selfies telling the world how his life had changed. He now has an apartment he could not afford previously, a car that he didn't have before. Etc...

Then I later find out he is still needing two more members before he gets paid. And it is no wonder people now look at the Internet as Spammy and Scammy. And sure enough it most likely is, for many who are following others. Those others who are not really being for real. Surely no one out there like this?

It is the blind leading the blind in most cases. And everyone may appear to be honest and upfront with you, at least until they get you in as a member. Or talk you into buying the next great product offer. So it is called Affiliate Marketing, with a price!

People are not as dumb as most think. They are skeptical for sure--and for reasons that vary of course. But for good reason. Most lose thousands of dollars in order to try and make their first buck online.

I myself have spent $12,000.00 since 2012.

So why have I gotten off on this tangent? To explain that there is money to be made. Sure. And yes. But again, you have to go back to the top of this article and read the first sentence. To understand exactly how to do that.

That is the secret if there is one. That many do not understand or know about. When we give someone more value, we have a Win-Win. Only then does IT work.

But most marketers do not care if it works for others. You will be meeting these guys later. As long as it works for them they will take your money. And that is most of them struggle to earn. I'm not saying that crooks don't make good money!

Value is the underlying present day ingredient of making real money online. For instance, if you are marketing stuff that is already out there in abundance, yes you get a small slice of that pie. Very small. Normally the pie though is eaten up before you have a chance to sit down at that table. And then, how many are going to follow you if you are selling the same thing as everyone else? Very few right?

Unless you are branding yourself. And have built authority, no one cares a rats arse about you, as long as they get a product or service cheap. In many cases.

So, it is only when you can provide great value, and build repeat customers for life, that you succeed. Not easily done in the affiliate groups. But affiliate groups is a good place to cut your teeth. Just don't expect to get rich from promoting someone else. It very seldom happens.

So then, how do we really make 6 and 7 figure kind of money? How do we make money online, and lots of it? You have to follow someone who is actually doing well. Learn what works at the time. And believe you will make a successful business work at all costs.

You take what money you make and invest it on a coach or mentor. Someone who can show you credentials that are not faked. Someone who has thousands of followers, and years in the business. And is showing millions of dollars doing the same type of thing that you would be interested in doing.

Anything less is just risking failure. And trust me here. Failure is already going to take out everyone around you tens times over, here in the marketing game. And has year after year since the Internet began.

Statistics show only a small percentage to succeed with Internet Marketing. And 3 to 5 percent ever earn real income online. Real income meaning an average of $30k to $100k earnings per year. Even less for those earning in the millions. I'd say if you are earning in the millions you are about the .5 percent.

But anything is possible. We do need to believe in ourselves and find truly unique ways to give of ourselves and share great value. Because in helping others, we will soon find that we help ourselves.
